Here are some pictures of the deck part, over kill on the construction I know, but I like to be safe. I used deck hangers and treated decking nails for everything.

Since the season is coming, I figured we should start a post to give a few people idea's on hunting tree stands and blinds. Post up your favorite tree stand and blind pictures for everyone to check out. Last year it helped me build a few,specifically the one below which is amazingly stable and one of the safest stands i've built. I got the idea from a few members on the site that posted some pictures. This was freshly painted in that pic, it looks 100 times better now that its weathered a bit. I'm building another one of these this year, already have the platform done.

I support it, and have seen the results, it works.

Cool thanks, it does help. I noticed a few of those higher end transformers have the option to bump the voltage. I'll do some research on those brands you mentioned, some of those fixtures are so damn expensive though.

As of now yes, but more then likely the other side will split off also and make it an 8.

Hey all, Looking to do some low voltage outdoor lighting. Anyone mess with this before? Been searching on the net for some idea's and good pricing. I think I'll do a custom deal because I'd like to get one transformer (a good sized one) that could be used for the back yard and the front. Any suggestions? Just going to do a few path lighting things and then some spot lights around the shrubs. I guess I should try to calculate the amount of wattage I'm going to use to make sure I get the right transformer, they seem pretty expensive too.

I'd like to get a new set of arrows, what are some good ones? Anyone buy new ones recently? I saw the ad on TV for those carbon express Maxima's, omg, expensive! So trying to read up on what else is out there after seeing those prices.

Well the state now says bend over and pay $10 for each doe you want to shoot! I find this crazy especially for the guys that buy a Super Sportsman or Lifetime hunting licence! When they started to charge the buyers of the SS to apply for a DMP I stopped getting them and just used the extra antlerless tag for bow/muzzleloader. I must not have been the only one to do this so now they are eliminating that tag! They are strong arming us into paying more and there isn't a darn thing you can do about it. They are going to do whatever makes them the most money! You dont pay $10 per DMP, you pay $10 and get how many ever DMPs you draw, which could be up to four. Before you go on a rant, you might want to get the facts straight about how you are being bent over. Dont forget if you got your lifetime before 9/30/09 or round about, there is no charge for a DMP.

We only did our plot last year, so I know its not that in my area. And there are no other plots other then open grass thats been there forever.
