You don't want to be higher then that for bow really anyways... And the height is all about the area your in, I have my own wood ladder in at about 12 feet, any higher because of the tree's I'b be obstructed or have a very limited view. My other metal ladder is at about 18feet, which is plenty high for rifle, actually to high in my personal taste for bow.

If all seasons go to the DMP system, they would have to change the dates to allow early season hunters (Bow) to get their DMPs in time for opening day. Why wouldnt they change the dates? And just where did you read that bit of information? I'd have to agree, they would need to make it earlier, it would only make sense. And the 2nd leftover deal should be moved up as well. Ok then, I'll ask you the same question: where did you read that bit of info? frankly, I can only base my opinions on what I see written. If it's not in current law or stated in that 5 year plan, then it doesn't exist. I'm not going to get into the game of wishful thinking or hoping that maybe for the first time the DEC might begin to engage in logical thinking. Yeah that sounds right, I got my MZ tag after everything else last year and I received an antlerless tag.

I think you get an extra tag to be honest, I want to say its a doe tag? With bow you get an either sex tag, then with the addition of muzzle you get a doe? I have to check or see what I get this year. It is a little confusing.... Maybe I can look tonight at my old tags.

Actually I just got my renewal also, you don't need to bring your pistols in anymore, I guess they just changed those rules.
