I herd a lot of shots this last 4 days during the southern opener. These were single rifle shots. They were not multiple shots like someone sighting in their rifle. It really makes me wonder, and I am not the only one in the area that herd then, it sounded like rife season!

I tried posting 3 times from my stand with pics, freaking thing kept loosing signal. I'll post some pics tomorrow tho.

I think this was the same deer under my stand in the wood lot below. Scared the piss out of me, I fell asleep woke up to noise and there was a doe under my stand eating the bush that touched my ladder... Was a good time, I wish I had that on video.

How'd it go guys? I failed a few times all my own fault... Not prepared, etc.

The wind was just crazy! I was going nuts.

I Don't, and I have food plots.... Big different from a 2 acre plot and a pile of corn, especially from the CWD reasons that NY uses for banning baiting.

Lots! Unfortunaly with zero success... My uncle took a doe yesterday on my place... I saw a real beautiful 8... I was just unprepared, and it walked off by the time I was set.. I tried to get him back but he wanted no part of my grunts! Saw a load of deer @ 50+ yards, lots of spikes (UNDER MY STAND, I could have spit on them). I can't wait to go back up, I know the stand I want to be in now

Yeah, I tried it last week forgot to post, but they would accept the $10 off $25 as $10 off $50 which is what that original coupon was before someone on our internet modified them. Anyways, the $10 off $50 works, I used it. What's to good to be true, always is

It was ridiculously windy the first few days of the opener... At night I was actually wobbling, felt like I was on a cruise ship and got to land. With that wind, they bedded down, and movement was non-existent unless pushed. This morning was a beautiful morning, with low winds, and there was a bunch of activity all over the property. I wish the first few days were no so damn windy, and I was freezing too

In my stand as I type This morning sucked. So windy. Now its a little calmer out, saw about 5 doe this morning and a spike. Pic attached.

I'm going to "TRY" to video tape stuff, but my camera is not coming out in the rain. I'd love to get some deer and turkey on the camera.

I didnt notice this the first time, there are 4 bucks on this pic, 1 spike and a 4 ptr fighting then an 8 and maybe a 7 in the camera too..

I almost got a grizzly, then the deal on the kawi brute 750 popped up on craigslist. I was literally at this guys house with in 2 hours of the craigslist posting. Its an 05, had 150 miles on it, with a plow for 1/3 the price of a new one. In the little time i've had the machine, wow, I've had fun. With me, my wife, and towing a small trailer the thing doesnt even grunt going up a steep incline. Only problem I had was the master cylinder, and fixing some corroded wiring as it was sitting for a while. Flushed all the fluids, rebuilt the master, cleaned the carb, hit it with some sea foam, and gave it a really good cleaning. (still working on the plow, its 1/2 way done)

Ok, kind of confused. I'm no weather man, but.... If I look at the radar, the whole front is almost passing through NYC/LI now, making it way up. By tomorrow night it should be well blown through Sullivan County, yet it says rain through Sat morning on all the forecasts. Unless this storm whips a circle around, I can't see it raining up there come Sat... And based on the previous 3 hrs of radar data its not going to whip around. There is a smaller band coming in, however, that looks like 30-60 min of showers max. BTW, listening to the weather channel right now, they said there is a chance for SNOW in Northern NY
