    I'm only on my 2nd bow in 16 years of bowhunting. I can't see getting a new bow every year, these things are expensive. I expect my current bow to last me a while. I have never bought a rifle either, I was handed a 35 as my first hunting rifle from my uncle, then he gave me his 30-06 4 years ago. The only thing I'd like to do is upgrade the scope some day, but for now and the woods I hunt, there really are no far shots that would warrant a better scope. Although it would be nice to see a little more light and have a bigger view

    There have been some heated discussions, however I think the end result of them were either people apologizing or moderately getting along. Some topics will always be heated topics, that's what happens when your passionate about something. The only thing I've moderated is a few curses here and there, just to keep the forum somewhat clean.

    I'd like to have a formal set of rules, something simple, easy. I'll draft something up when I have some free time, open to suggestions. I'll search the net, I'm sure there are some good ones out there. The mods here are great, and whats even better, is they have not had any issues at all other then a spammer or two getting through the spam checker. The members here have been awesome.

    I was thinking of requiring a blaze orange safety harness and be in support of AR to join the site though. Just kidding! I'll have to think long and hard about it, I'd rather not, but we shall see.

    This is my first time ever doing a food plot & having land of our own. I setup stands both on the food plots and plenty off the plot. I have never had to opportunity to hunt a field, food plot or any kind of semi-open area. I have yet to decide where I'll be sitting on opening day. And I do not think that a food plot is the same as baiting.

    It is habitat improvement, along with the other things we did / are going to do such as selective harvesting of tree's. Down the road we will do another field, which will result in more habitat improvements.
