  1. My Dad said he disc'd the other field today, said he did it for 4+ hrs, tons of rocks. Its not as clean and the one pictured above. It will need a lot of raking.
  2. Keep in mind there is a data cap on those air cards, i think some are as little as 5 GB...
  3. My Dad has frontier at the cabin, and his DSL is SLOW and inconsistent Its gotten a little better over the last year, but keep in mind this is a brand new run, new wires, new everything so the problem is not near the house its somewhere down the road.
  4. Could be a sign that thing is going to crap the bed for good soon. To be honest wireless routers are so cheap now, and the ones you buy off the shelf are 99.9% better then the ones they give out for free.
  5. Jets pick Dee Milliner, CB... Bleh
  6. Your random number generator thing for your contest was a great idea. So stealing that right now!
  7. Ok apparently not buf, rams traded.
  8. people wear those things? Though they were for the city slickers.
  9. I'm sure there are a bunch. I'm reg'd on there as burmjohn of course. I snag a few things in the classifieds from time to time (new arrows, rest, etc).
  10. Buf and Jets picks coming up in a few min!
  11. My Uncle. Introduced me to the sport, and now I dragged my brother in. Trying to get my old man out there, he loves doing food plots and prep, just doesnt hunt! Eats the venison though. The best part is our first year bow hunting was everyones first year bowhunting. I want to say I was 15?
  12. I figured as much after I googled it like a champ.
  13. You would think the DEC would have issued a notice.
  14. Grow, posted the one my old man got and used yesterday. -> http://huntingny.com/forums/topic/16083-burms-foodplot-2013-soybeans-summer-peas-sorghum-sunflowers/
  15. My old man has been working a bit on the property, yesterday he used his landscape rake for the first time. This is my small plot raked and a pic of the my dad's toy. I wish I could get there to help, but I have baby #2 coming soon and so much work to get done in my house before that happens (reno'ing a room). The rake: The field after it was raked: Its going to get disc'd then raked again. He is raking the trail going up also to fill in some divits and stuff so we can drive the pickup truck up there with the lime and fert. The trail is about .7ish of a mile up because of twists and turns. I bought this to try this year, if its hammered by sept I'll plant a quick winter plot. Hopefully it grows nice, seemed to have some decent reviews. Anyone try this before and or any products from this brand? Evolved Harvest Maximize The forage plants in Maximize were developed for Spring & Summer to provide a consistent source of nutrients to help establish fawns and provide nutrients bucks need to maximize antler growth. Forage Soybeans and Summer Peas high protein forage in the growing season until frost while the Grain Sorghum and Sunflowers supply a grain source that is available for both deer and game birds well into the Fall.
  16. Buck wheat in my field was torn up by the time bow season started. The deer and turkey loved it from the trail cam pics.
  17. Whats odd is was right on the big main trail we have going up to the level part of our property. The trail is wide enough I can drive a truck up it.
  18. My dad said the scrape was 6 to 7 feet high on the tree.
  19. It will. Eventually. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
  20. Buffalo, NY (WBEN) In State Supreme Court, the attorney for a man whose pistol permit was temporarily revoked says records from the Erie County Clerk's office were unsealed. Jim Tresmond says the records show State Police had their man, his client in their sights all along. Tresmond says Judge Russell Buscaglia signed the subpoena order to have Erie County Clerk Chris Jacobs hand over the records regarding David Lewis, Tresmond's client. "The records reflect the New York State Police had Mr. Lewis' name, date of birth, pistol permit application, date of birth, mental health history," says Tresmond. "The notion the State Police simply provided Erie County Clerk Chris Jacobs with a name and age range and required Jacobs to do due diligence was patently false." Tresmond notes Jacobs was fully cooperative with him during this matter, and now will take what he calls "quite condeming" evidence toward a civil matter against the state and State Police for gross negligence. "The state not only denied Mr. Lewis his property rights and due process, but slandering him and defaming him as being mentally incompetent," explains Tresmond. "Never in my lifetime have I seen an entire state administration so negligent and delinquent in the performance of their duties." Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
  21. This bear was taken about 400 yards from my property line last year and was the same bear I had on the trail camera (at least we think).
