  1. Is this from a bear? My old man just saw this on a ride back in the property.
  2. If you have time to listen - > http://www.wben.com/topic/play_window.php?audioType=Episode&audioId=6346919
  3. Hey grow do you have a trailer you use on the property that hooks to the tractor? Was thinking of getting one so we could haul crap around in addition to using it on the truck to make runs to town.
  4. This spot is about 75 yards from my main trail we created. So its actually easy to get in to, it seems they use this route during the day to go around the small fields we have and scout it out to see what is in there.
  5. My dad said these guys are hanging out a lot outside the cabin. Sent from my Droid
  6. Looks like a great tool. He said to spread rocks it swivels around? Sent from my Droid
  7. unfortunately I don't have the time to go Turkey hunting this season , my weekends are booked till the end of May.
  8. Its all about how to promote yourself and get known. There are a few companies that do the same thing, but they also offer land clearing services as well. Not to sure if you could get away with just doing food plot services, as mentioned above its very seasonal.
  9. Funny, my old man just picked one up too. What are you going to use it for? It seems like it has so many uses. He wants to use it to spread / level small rocks (driveway / trail). And then use it for our small fields to pull small rocks. Wonder if it would be good to use the disc, then this thing to pull the rocks out that were kicked up from disc'ing? I have visions of groomed trails with this thing lol. Is it "York Rake" brand ?
  10. Not sure, those were proposed changes. I didn't see them actually go through yet unless I missed it. http://www.governor.ny.gov/press/02202013-ny-open-for-fishing-and-hunting
  11. I bring 3 or 4 with me, 1 of them is usually an old arrow with a field tip for when I get bored...
  12. Some pics from a new spot I found when scouting. I found a crossroads of where 3 trails or so merge and split again. Was thinking of throwing a bow hunting stand up here this year. Its pretty thick all around with the exception of about a 30 yard area. The trails going through here are really worn through, so it must be fairly active, maybe more so in the warmer months. My old man just swapped the card and checked the batteries and uploaded the photos. Hoping for some more activity in the warmer months. Seems like in Feb and March they only passed by the camera every 2-3 days. More picture coming shortly, waiting on his slow DSL to upload them all to me.
  13. http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2013/04/12/thursday-cable-ratings-swamp-people-wins-night-archer-nba-basketball-ridiculousnesschasing-tail-more/177495/ Seems their numbers are amazing. Doing better then any other deer hunting show ever. Sent from my Droid
  14. I cut mine 2 weeks ago before I seeded. Growing like crazy. Sent from my Droid
  15. Its still better then 90% of the High Fence hunting shows on TV. Sent from my Droid
