I certainly do not do it, but I do not shoot the distances where I would need to. I dont see where any average deer hunter would need to do so to kill a deer. They must be shooting long distances for sure. That being said if a person took the time to zero a rifle in and knew the amount they had to hold off, it is easily done. As mentioned, how do you think snipers pull off 2000 or better yard shots with precision. They can not hold dead on. Actually you hear guys wanting to shoot 250 yards with a ml because some guy on tv says it can be done. If you look through bdc scopes and actually figured out how high you have to hold to pull off a 250 yard dead on shot with a ml, it would surprise you. Bottom line it can be done with loads of practice, not guessing. Would I do it no. Do I condoen it no not for the average joe out hunting, there is no need.

OK I am really bored now, but curious. How many here shave before work? I shave in the evening and go for the day the next day. I shave sun-thurs eve. Fri and sat are mine unless I really have to do somethng that requires me to shave. How many shave the evening before and how many in the am. The other reason I shave in the evening is I have two daughters who need the bathroom for what seems hours every morning. I get up at 5 and shower to beat the crowd. I have a 15 minute drive to work and have it be there for 7:00. Uop until a few years ago I had a full beard so it took out all the hassle. But when I got a promotion looking presentable became a necessity.

once a frame is registered as a handgun frame, legally you cant put a rifle barrel and stock on it and vice versa. It violates federal laws. So putting a rifle frame on a handgun length barrel will really put you outside the law.

I woukd suggest some pyridex rs round balls patches and some #11 caps. They are fun to shoot and work well to hunt with

I purchased a new 7-08 bergara barrel for my encore. I loaded various loads with the 139 grain hornady bulets. I tried varget IMR 4895 and H 4350. I have settled on 42.5 grains of varget after shooting it yesterday. I mounted a nikon buckmasters 3x9x40 on it. I started at 25 yards and got it dialed in. I moved to 75 yards and had 4 out of 5 touching about a inch left of the bullseye. The fifth one was in the bulseye. This is the 4th bergara barrel I have owned and I think I will stick with them. Next trip the chrono to see how they fly.

ok not much interest I see, but I got to the range and tried the new scope yrsterday. I am pleased so far. Nice and clear held poi and was easy to adjust. I guess I will keep it.

t/c is known for their tight bores. One shot from t7 seems to be the end until you swab. I do not carry the stuff to swab in the field. Another solution is powerbelts, but they are expensive and I never liked the performance of them. If you try the crush rib and like them, you can look at buying bulk pistol bullets by the 100 and bulk sabots and save some money there too.

777 i sone of the dirtiest powders there is. order a package of harvestor crush rib sabots form cabels or midsouth etc. Get the one for 50 cal 45 cal bulets. Pull the shockwave bullets out of the included sabots and use them with the crush rib. You will see a difference in loading. Also, I would recommend blackhorn 209 powder. it is so much cleaner and inheratantly much more accurate than any other I have used in 35 years. Now the drawback ot bh209 is it is loose powder. But if you want to load easier shat after shot, give it a try.

There is other combinations of sabots and bullets that will oad easier. As asked what are you using for sabots bullets powder and what gun.
