  1. For sure I'm the only one working for a large cooperation who has relocated to further his career. I mean, what ever happened with to the American dream of working hard to gain success?

And life is good. Comfortable and good. Thanks for your concern.

How dare you leave NY for a better life, much better you stay for a less paying job and complain about what's going on here everyday....I'm sure your family would understand why you turned down an opportunity to better their lives.

  2. I wouldn't be happy if I paid for an "exclusive" lease and the owner knowingly has another hunting there because he rents another property...if that's the case, you were sold a bad batch of goods. who's to say this guy doesn't have friends who hunt there with him? contact the owner and square it away.

  3. The Beavers are on your neighbors property? I would avoid what some are suggesting to do to get rid of them unless you can totally trust them 100%..........when too many people know you've done something illegal, you run the risk of getting yourself in trouble, all it takes is one person to open their mouth to the wrong person and problems start to develop.

  4. Anyone who thinks the safe act is not a violation of the second amendment of the constitution if the united States as well as a violation of the NY state constitution clearly does not get it. I do not need to sit back and wait and hope some court says it is. Case in point Obama care. And if they say it is constitutional I guess we again roll over and take it. Feel free to do so.

I don't think anyone disagrees with you on that.......but exactly how far people are willing to push it is my question, like I asked earlier, would you be willing to set up and promote a shoot where those, including yourself, would be willing to show up and have a shoot with your unregistered assault weapons and high capacity magazines and see how it plays out?

  5.

I just did this morning. It's been 2 and a half months and nobody has been arrested. I doubt anybody will ever be arrested soley for a safe act violation.

I was thinking more along the lines of those who refuse to comply no matter what the consequence, should organize and promote a protest where they all show up and have a peaceful day of target shooting with their unregistered assault weapons and high capacity magazines........be interesting to see who would show.

  6. That's a "glass is half empty" view! :)

How about because it is NOT accepted or part of the law in virtually the entire rest of the country, the gun-grabbers are out of touch and should LOSE their fight?

The problem is that NYC carries a tremendous amount of political influence inside of NY State. That is one reason restrictive gun laws get written and passed. Fortunately, that influence doesn't extend to most areas outside of NY state.

Yes, the fight is everywhere. It is just that it is currently much harder for us to "win" that fight in NY.

you're right..the fact that it hasn't been law in the majority of the state should win out...........time for the NYC gun owners to step up big time!!!!

  7. AR-15's have been restricted in NYC for a very long time. The safe act really didn't change much for us down here. Although it shows which direction the state is headed with more and more legislation passed. Hopefully voters turn out this November and get Cuomo out of his throne with officials who realize this law has to go.

my guess is that since its been accepted as law for so long in one part of NY that it won't be hard for them to win the fight that it's ok for the rest of the state......where was everyone when it was being pushed as law onto NYC?

  8. it would be alot better if we could have a 10-14 day hound season then, and that would help with population control best. it would also help the farmers best with all the corn damage they do.

if they added hounds and bait hunting you might even get some guides interested in running bear hunting operations..........probably wouldn't be a bad thing.

  9. yup, the only thing new that has any relationship to these shootings is a combination of mental illness and the drugs prescribed to control it (with a few exceptions)..........guns have been around forever and so has bullying and whatever else is blamed as the cause, there is something else that's pushing these kids to do these type of things.
