Man, was just sittin here cursing myself for not being able to get a shot at this doe, and over my shoulder I see a high racked 8 lickin his branch about 75yds off.... Grunted, looked, no thanks, snort wheeze , looked real hard , mmmm no thanks..., good morning so far...

Beautiful morning! 38, blue bird sky, so much for the 10 mph NNW they were callin for ... This light breeze is VARIABLE to say the least... Found two fresh scrapes practically on top of each other on the way in .... Good luck guys n gals!

I've been hunting Iroquois since the opener, seen a bunch of wooden permanent stands, portables locked up, and then some .... Apparently DEC does not go for strolls in the woods there ! I empathize with you though, but always bring a small cable lock with ya, I've left my stand on evenings locked up planning on the next mornings hunt n lock it anyhow... Sorry for your loss! N good luck, some big boys out there!!!

Man, been one a those years so far... Been in the deer , only one sit out of 11 that I hadn't seen a deer ... For one reason or another couldn't get er done whether it be shifting wind, something falling out a my pack at the most inopportune time, lack of wind n too quiet to blink let alone draw , or another hunter blundering through the woods late talkin on his cell phone... Uggghh , oh well patience ..... On the upside I have seen a big jump in the last two days in scrape/rub activity n had two spikes pegged on a doe's a$& Sunday morning .... Still no sign a the big boys but soon... Soon.... !!!

alright,,,,,lf i can catch a brake and get a steady wind in this spot im in the money.... been one a those seasons so far that i've seen deer on nearly every sit, but s##2t's not workin out for one reason or another.... but i found a great swamp between bedding, and they are comin n goin every morning/evening.... i'm f'n up the first doe i see..... had seven doe's pass by this morning, one had two spike hot on her heals, and i got busted twice two separate time drawin back cause it was so quiet out!!! couldn't get away with nothin... somethins gonna die tonight!!!

I know , I know.. Lol... Been so many close calls this year so far n just gettin a little ahhhhh ... Anxious ... She pushed me over the edge , she dead next time I see her!!!

God damn nanny doe didn't like somethin.... Wind was good, I didn't move a f'n muscle, and this cu$& stands at 60 +yds n blows for the last 40 minutes of light... I'm killin that ol battle axe next time I see her cause she's got a white patch on her neck that's unmistakeable!!! Pisssed me off somethin awful tonight !!!

The field around the corner from my house in tonawanda was loaded with deer last evening, three deprecate pairs of bucks sparring/fighting... Saw one jack upon his hind legs n make a scrape.... Things are heatin up .. Can't wait for this weekend , weather is gonna be perfect..!!!

Total for the evening... Busted by momma n her two fawns, had a skeeter tearin me a new one on my eyelid! Couldn't hold out... Other than that , 13 other doe's just out of range, a little spike, and a nice buck at last light headin for the corn on the property bordering the state land as I popped out of the timber headin for the truck... Good night! They were movin ...
