What do ya'll think of the predictions for late Sept and October? They drunk again? If it does happen it could make for an interesting bow season !!! Maybe a little mid October snow in the woods wouldn't hurt my feelings none!

I second the summit open shot! Best of both worlds , it's essentially a hang on type style but a climber, light as all get out n great for bow hunting... The seat is big, thick, n comfy .. Do spend the extra 20 or 30 bucks on the foot rest cause it makes all the diff in the world... I love mine !!!

Yup, was out walkin the dog n at least a half a dozen trees were already droppin pretty heavy

I also shoot carbon express but the maxima hunters 350's using nocturnals, couldn't use the collar which prevented the nock from getting seated , so just did away with the collar n been workin fine ever since... I gotta say though make sure you get the right size nocturnals for carbon express cause they do make a smaller size as well ... Haven't used the launch pads but it seems to be a common theme that lighted nicks won't work with the collars... Collar in my opinion isn't that important anyhow...

Just my 2 cents, but I shot a doe 2 years ago that had walked right under the stand where I let er fly earlier from the stand...

I live in N Tonawanda and I've seen some good ones walkin around my neighborhood ... Last season I was leavin for a morning hunt and had a bruiser of a buck walk right down the side walk next to the truck from one wood lot to another ...

wow, stupid is as stupid does... lol he probly thought he was actually providing some objective infromation , but clearly not, bad shot after bad shot, one has to wonder , after fifty or so practice shots and you still cant average a good kill shot, re-evaluate yourself!!!! haha cant believe he produced this video and probly feels like a dope for posting it... i know 12 year olds that can make a better shot on a 23 yd doe calm as all get out feeding at a feeder without a gut shot in the hind quarter...

New muddy lite stand n sticks for this situations I have no option for the climber , hand muff , new tree rope 25ft for the bow, new 2-in-1 insulated heavy coat (APG) inner jacket for bow / both for cold gun hunts... And thinking about some new base layers ...

Gun for sure orange on the head n vest.. Bow I don't feel is necessary , all camo for bow ...

Got both for 8g tday... Went to gander n asked if they were working , two kids looked at me , nope n went back to what they were doin... Third. Just stopped in , lot a people but not too crazy ... In my opinion they have a decent selection , use gun selection was nice, but some stuff is wickedly overpriced like $350-400 for bibs or heavy jackets ... No thank you lol..

Buck decoy ... Gonna try my hand at it a few time in late October , after scoutin I've got beans instead of corn this year so it sets up perfectly at the edge between two heavy doe bedding areas ... Other than that bought a new cold weather jacket( tired of layering to the hills) and maybe another hang on ... We'll see what kind of deals cabelas has during opening.. Gonna be a MAD house !
