I guess after seeing how the laws here in NY played out there not wanting to take any chances. I can't blame them !!! If anything I applaud them for showing they won't back down.

Never had much luck with the cheap Winchester ammo or the Remington Core locks. I use Fusion 130 grain with my 270. and 165 grain for my 30-06. I love fusion ammo give em a try you might never look back. Good luck.

Check the dec website and see if and when they stock the trout and go from there.

Does anyone use loctite for their scope mounts ?? I have had my scope come loose and I have good rings I just think the 30-06 is rocking it's socks off. A buddy of mine using loctite said he has never had a problem while using it.

Anyone going to the river to do some trout fishing on the first of April ?? I'm sure I will be out in the cold trying my luck with some spinners.

I would just take the seat right out and bring it somewere to get it done. I'm sure it isn't a one peice seat cover so it shouldn't cost to much.

It's hard because the stores are still getting ammo in and most likely more than ever. The thing is it has no self life anymore. I won't lie I have started buying a few more boxes than I would have been since all the BS. I went with a freind who is just now getting into shooting to buy his first rifle and while I was standing there must have been 50 people looking for nothing but 22. ammo come in and out. Who knows let's just hope they start making more. I figure they will since a single rifle round is worth more than a single dollar for the most part.

I'm in the same boat. I have been trying to hit my local shops pretty much when there delivery truck get's there just for some 22 ammo. Whatever works I guess.

I was out there doing some carpet work I heard all the cops flying by. Then my mother called me and told me what was going on. It's wild, some people have no hope. I'll be back out there in about 4 hours lol great...
