    Not going to lie Biz, I considered shooting just because of the experience. We were definitely eyeball to eyeball. But the other 2 were were holy smokes bucks. The best still to come! But awesome experience and that’s why we really hunt anyways.

    Wicked cool hunt. Stud of a 2yr at 4-5yds. But I bino-ed two that absolutely confirmed I couldn’t shoot the 2yr. The other 2 left under my stand on the other hedge row. So cool to see a nice buck on the ground that close though.

    Sitting same stand you sat (below lol). Bowl is in front of stand. Scrape is on trail behind stand. Actually scrape is about 5’ from where I laid down and watched you almost shoot that buck from the ground.

    Same spot I had to let that monster walk last year. Close to same time in Oct. Here’s hoping. Should look familiar to you. Had a cam set and card was corrupted. Lol But definitely opened last night after rain with 2 more within 15yds.

    Slow but very excited. Guess what I found. Milkweed coin purse baby! The season just got even better.

    Packed light. Tab, rangefinder and grunt tube. That’s it. Busted a couple deer coming in. Heard a doe blowing well down the valley and two button bucks with the smaller kicking the bigger several times. Light wind at least where I am sitting. Oh and a cat out of nowhere. Looked skinny and homeless. Enjoy all.

    Most of the deer I shoot are well over 250 on the hoof. They all also have the heaviest organs around as confirmed by my scale. 250-130 = 120lbs hanging. I am amazed at the estimated weight of the organs of my deer each and every time.
