  1. I was impressed with the last survivors on the show Alone. It really does show how hard it is to live off the land. Last year the runner up was forced to leave due to body weight loss. I am reasonably confident that I would become pretty darn miserable without a readily available food source. Heck, I get grumpy when dinner is ready too late.
  2. I guess this is part of the slippery slope that Doc has raised numerous times. I really have no objection to full inclusion of the crossbow so that more people can hunt the season. But this is beyond that to me for some reason I can't properly articulate. I agree that it really has no practical differences from a crossbow in its use but it bothers me having this weapon in archery season. Perhaps its the history of crossbows being like bows in that its a limbed weapon. Don't know but I think adding crossbows is enough and we should stop there without adding no-limb propulsion weapons.
  3. That’s great news Eddie. Prayer is effective.
  4. So the Dewalt arrived. Gotta say it seems to pretty much kick butt. Some serious power and like that it’s brushless. I know there is no lifetime service agreement but I doubt I will return it. Picked up the impact driver for $50 shipped to. If it lasts as long as my cheap hitachi, it will be worth it.
  5. Not the current Ford, but the dodge I owned for a brief period of time before it self destructed.
  6. Only the highest quality heaviest duty stuff is included in the pink line of products.
  7. This is one time where being a quitter is a very good thing. Congrats crappyice!
  8. Add the Amazn pellet smoker. So much easier. No refills on wood chips.
  9. One time where bigger doesn’t equal longer life.
  10. SOLD SOLD SOLD. How long do the batteries last?
  11. Ha. The rechargeable drills fit in the saddlebags better and don’t weight Nelly down so much.
  12. No worries on derailing. I enjoy it. I did own a dodge once and sold it after 35k miles. But the first few weeks were trouble free. lol
  13. That's another one, but really it falls behind the Suzuki which is the third brand I meant. Anyone remember those mint Suzuki samuri? Now that was a fine piece of machinery, only exceeded by the Yugo and then Dodge pick ups.
  14. Wasn't there preseason but perhaps its the start! Its field edge so I am sure it gets used mostly at night, but 2 good bucks were killed within 50 yds of it this year so who knows.
  15. It looks like I have started the debate of all debates (next to ford vs chevy and some third brand that I usually ignore).
  16. No doubt. Got bigger after the 11pt (and 10pt shot the day you were there) met their demise. Its about 35yds from the "Grampy blind".
  17. The question is whether I will put the effort in to repack and return the dewalt for the extra battery warranty. My cheap hitachi lasted 10 years. We shall see but it sounds like good advice.
  18. The battery warranty is impressive. Now you and buckmaster have me reconsidering. ugghh
  19. This sucker was getting crushed through late season. My buddy said the 11pt he shot worked it before his demise. That tree is thigh big and the rub goes above my waist.
