  1. Enjoy it Jay. You and TF can tune together. Lol
  2. I would think that the 35lb minimum is more of an issue than skill for most 12-13yr olds that shoot.
  3. Great time to give you a tour of my swamp so you know it when you come to hunt next fall.
  4. Phade mentioned that he may have the perfect place for a summer get together (west of Rochester). We would have it to ourselves and even has room to shoot bows.
  5. Best part he is between two of the tallest people there. Its an optical illusion. Plus, it ain't easy getting out of the high chair.
  6. It’s a generational thing. Like nose rings or those discs people put in their ears. Form of personal expression.
  7. My henry 30-30 is rapidly becoming my favorite firearm to hunt with. But I still think for under $300, its hard to beat the axis.
  8. Bang for the buck, its hard to beat the savage.
  9. I was just kidding with ya. 500yds is a poke and requires real skill even with a weatherby! Not a shot I would be confident taking that's for sure.
  10. Its a weatherby. That's cheating. They shoot themselves as per Biz!
  11. I was given Pygmy's protocol when "breaking in" rifles but I know Sako specifically said no break in was required. I think the idea is to ensure that you clean any copper fouling that may catch any imperfections early so as not to screw up the rifling. It would seem to make sense that the better the machining to start on the barrel, the less need there is for any type of break in because there are no imperfections. But I can't see how cleaning the gun often for a few boxes is going to hurt anything either.
  12. My “use up what’s left in the fridge” lunch. Shrooms and venison. Was darn good.

I hope it’s a big blind or I better just stop eating until May! The Ghandi diet. It really hasn’t caught on yet.
  15. You cook some interesting food. Not just the standard meat and potatoes. Looks good.
  16. And I thought we were close enough to go with just Jerk. Exception noted!
  17. I am more than happy to participate in some good natured jokes at my expense and the expense of others that choose to participate. Since Grow hasn’t chosen to participate, let’s pick on Biz, Big Val, Jerkman TF, Rob, tree guy, me or anyone else that enjoys it and is on here. Reminds me of my college buddies or the locker room. We all picked on each other CONSTANTLY. If we didn’t, there would be nothing to say. But no one took it seriously. So have at it, but no fat jokes. I have heard em all (unless you really have something original).

I had a salad for lunch. Gotta be good for 10lb loss.

Going to disagree that exercise is more important than diet. I have done a lot of "exercise" and it really doesn't reduce lbs much unless you couple it with healthy eating. Chas, it sounds like you eat pretty darn healthy already so exercise will only help. Everyone I hear from that has been truly successful (Arcade, Grampy, my Brother) has the same advise (healthier choices and smaller portions). I just have to start implementing it. lol I was much better at gaining weight when I needed/wanted to than I am losing it now.
  21. I use the shoebox f10 compressor. It works great for filling a single gun whenever you want. About 3-4 min fill time. Add a cheap 8 gallon 150 psi portable compressor, hoses and a air filter and it’s good to go. If I was filling scuba tanks, I would want something bigger but to direct fill a pcp, it’s perfect. Most reasonable 4500psi compressor out there too.
