Tax breaks for renters?
bluecoupe replied to WNYBuckHunter's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
Which is then taken as a tax reduction by the landlord. This is like Doc said, a scheme to buy him votes on our dollar -
I couldn't take it any more. I ordered the LG39C from HSN. I'm a newbie phones that are more than a phone so it may take a bit but if anyone would be interested in my opinion of it let me know and I'll post it after I try it out. Thanks for all of the info.

Sorry but I have no sympathy for 'em. If they can pay a minimum of $2700 or an average of about $4500 for a ticket, they can afford warm clothes.

5.45x39 Is too small of a round to hunt whitetail with, correct?
bluecoupe replied to LiveFree1776's topic in Deer Hunting
A lot of things are possible but not advisable. -
Phew, you scared the H out of me with the thread title! I personally don't hunt 'em but know people that do. A lot of the time they're taken by locals who already know the animals habits which helps a lot in scouting but luck still is a big part of it. Not that much different than hunting deer, just a lot less of 'em. At least that my thoughts on it, right or wrong.

Best time of year to try and figure out a new area. Tracks in the snow don't lie.

Governor Announces Support for Crossbows in NY

lol - me too. I forget who, but someone was complaining that there were too many Steves and they couldn't keep them straight. Now, the fact that mine ended with a C and another ended with a B and another ended with a number (863?) may have been a clue but I didn't want to tax anyone's mind so I just changed mine. -

As I said... you can't make this stuff up. -

Thanks Fantail. I'm pretty confident I've sorted out the data/bluetooth stuff. I am looking intently at the LG39C phone that Tracfone just put out but I swear I read something somewhere about it having issues with too many preloaded apps that limited what the user could add /run. So I'm investigating that one now. I should probably just bite the bullet and order the sucker but can't bring myself to do it.... yet

ok, by your "I don't like it so you shouldn't be able to use it" philosophy then I should be able to outlaw big diesel motors in pickups because I think they stink and shouldn't be allowed. You can accomplish the same thing with smaller gas motors and I like them better so you can't use diesels. Makes about as much sense as what your position regarding crossbows. We should probably just let this rest. I'm a relative newbie here but I'm sure that this has been dissected over and over and over and over on this board. Let's just agree to disagree and see which side wins in the long run. Pact? -

I attacked no one. I stated my views. If they bother you then I suggest you take a look in the mirror and ask yourself why that may be. I don't like being told I can't use something because someone else doesn't happen to like it. Your negative attitude to those favoring doesn't help your cause either. It just makes you come across as insinuating that you are better than people who wish to use other methods. I shouldn't have posted but I just can't stand it sometimes. -

I don't believe I ever indicated that I thought you DID attack me. My statements were completely general in nature. If I have something to say directly to you, believe me; you'll know it. I just get really fed up with people who think they know my life better than I do. As for separate seasons as mentioned prior by someone who I don't recall. Is that why compounds and inlines have their own seasons? That's about as crazy as it gets. What about the next technological advance? Yet another season? -

<soapbox> Why some are against crossbow legalization just boggles the mind. Remember when compounds first came on the scene and there was such an uproar about how it would totally ruin "bowhunting" and that it should only be legal to use traditional bows? How many of those people use compounds today. Same with inline smokepoles. People really need to look at the FACTS of of the weapon and not just go with kneejerk reactions or the holier-than-thou attitudes about being better, more challenging, etc etc etc. They should be legal, period. You don't want to use them? Don't. But don't tell me that I can't simply because you think it's not manly enough or it doesn't require the same effort. </soapbox> huff-puff-huff-puff - sorry I just couldn't stand it anymore... and with that I'll shutup -
I agree, I have warmers on my snowblower handles and they do help somewhat. Another thought may be mittens (I know, I know, I don't like 'em either but for warmth....) with a chemical warmer tucked inside? We missed the first cold snap thank heaven when my wife kidnapped me for my birthday and took us to Tortola. Not gonna be so lucky this time unfortunately.

http://bit.ly/LKjXIE In a radio interview last week, Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) made some disparaging comments about pro-life conservatives, stating they had “no place in the state of New York because that’s not who New Yorkers are.”Those remarks drew the ire of conservative talk show host Sean Hannity, who on his Monday radio program declared he had enough and was abandoning his home state, where he hosts his widely syndicated radio show and his high-rated Fox News Channel television program. “Now I want to tell you something – I was born and raised in New York,” Hannity said. “I want you to know that and I can’t wait to get out of here. I really can’t. I don’t want to pay their 10-percent state tax anymore. I live in the second-highest property taxed county in the entire country in Nassau County. I can’t wait to sell my house to somebody who wants it. I can’t wait to pay no state income tax down in Florida or Texas. I haven’t decided yet, but I’m leaning Florida because I like the water and I like to fish.” Hannity has hosted a radio show in New York City since the late 1990s. In 2001, the show was syndicated and has since filled the current 3 p.m. ET to 6 p.m. ET time slot. He will be following in the footsteps of conservative radio talkers Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck, who had also fled the Empire State for Florida and Texas, respectively. “Gov. Cuomo, I’m going to leave and I’m taking all of my money with me – every single solitary penny,” he added. “And by the way governor, because I work here – there’s a whole bunch of people that work for me and benefit because I do two shows. And I guess maybe some of them will be out of work, governor. I’m sure you’ll take care of them.”

The Emperors view on youth crime
bluecoupe replied to bluecoupe's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
ok, now that I agree with. Equal prosecution/treatment by our system went out the window long ago. But people seem to be being charged kind of equally, it's what happens after that that depends on lawyers, judges, public opinion, etc. -

eh - bust away - everyone else does. ;-) I certainly didn't study them but did a quick skim of a couple. Enough to know they were charged with hate crimes but not far enough to find out what the lib lawyers and judges got 'em off with. -
Sur hope nobody turns you in to CPS...

Culvercreek; if you google "knockout charged with hate crime" you'll see there are. I agree that to the people doing the crime it probably definitely is based on races but I don't see it limited to one. I think it's more related to gang and "hood" behavior which encompasses all races. -

I went back and reread Virgil, I can see how it could be taken either way so I'll retract my post to you. Personally, I don't see it as a race issue. If some idiot goes around hitting someone out of the blue, I don't care who they hit or what group they belong to; it should be a hate crime and prosecuted as such.
