Thanks guys ...I shot her today for the first time...SWEET!!!!!!It took two shots and I was back to my no sight shooting form..and was 2in group at 15yrds......only shot 4 arrows ...not pushing it ...but a couple hours later and I'm doing good..no pain meds and just a little sore...Ya I know... I was going to shoot one arrow to start ...but geeezzz...she's light....so balanced and Quiet!!!...I couldn't resist...called up the shop and thanked them ;D

I would think your wife or girl friend might say ..."Thank God for small favors"

I don't think I'd ever use bleach.....but was told once that if you have a gut spill...You should soak clean rags with vinegar and rub down the cavity...that the acid in the vinegar will deter bacteria growth....

Well Fantail I've always shot 50-51#'s and the Hoyt was a 65% let off....I took a part time job to buy the new bow...ordered it and 4 days later ...Dislocated my shoulder while working...Dr. says 6wks....but I'm very nervous about this injury....I had to draw her back at the shop when I picked it up and my stomach was doing flips ...but they had backed her down to #40 at 80% let off and I drew her back fine and let her down with out pulling the shoulder out...though it will be a few days of TLC now....I plan after my 6wks are up to shoot 1 arrow 2x's a week and just keep building until I can have her set to #45...by summers end I hope to be back at #50 I have three sizes of rubber bands to work on as a rehab...just need to learn to back off on a few things...So much work to do...hate the cold and snow but it's a God send right now My own fault...53 yr old woman should not load and unload.... then carry down a long flight of steps 400 #'s of 50 # brine blocks all in one day...one at a time...Go figure : :-[

Hopefully with the new W.I.S.E. program and the trail cams I'll be able to finally put ?'s of validity to rest on his theory....But I agree with WNYBH...it's all in the time spent out there

This is going to be a fun season I do believe...

You know darn well that's not what I was saying... for I did mention dredging up and dissecting every single thing he's done or supposedly did...and that would be things that have absolutely NOTHING to do with hunting...Now as far as judging YOUR peers...most of you have flat out stated you don't consider him your peer...I suppose that negates that question doesn't it? Now to the close mind /stupid comment...Seriously? "If it doesn't fit you should acquit" ...I do not believe most Americans....even many of color didn't see through that one...even though OJ got off... I highly doubt ppl aren't seeing through Teds need to be noticed to the core of his message...hunting is needed

Excuse me...but you need to see all the negative things you other hunters are saying about a guy that yes....comes off strong and more than wild eyed.... while trying to get across a message that hunters and hunting are needed in the eco system. It is you guys that are dredging up all the negative ...anti moral...anti American stuff on him...I have not heard one comment from a non hunter that addresses any of these things when speaking of Ted...so if you want to blame someone for Teds negative face on hunting...look to your selves for you painted it

Mr B says the same thing...I've shot ones that have been seriously ill ...furless and stumbling around the property.......calling for a shovel and gallon of bleach....but they kill voles and anything that kills voles I have a hard time wanting to kill....voles tear up my maples in the winter and devour my summer gardens.... But that being said...the food plotting has brought in pheasant...infact Mr.B. kicked out one nice male yesterday in our hedge row when he came home...and we are seeing fewer grouse...so I suppose if I were to put the effort into hunting fox...I'd best be hunting egg stealing raccoons as well

I don't listen to his music...not that it's bad just don't.....it's not what I listen to....Thanks to many a Ted hater.... I've listened to a bunch of his hunting stuff...and Lord help me read a lot of Ted comments.... I can honestly say for all the "Professional" hunting gurus out there....He's not the worst....he is how he is.... and there's no under "lying" agenda....ie...the ones stating they're only concern is for the herd and quality of hunting for the future..BS....it's the $$$ ppl With Ted...it's $$ and a need for the spot light...but I think he has a serious hunting bug...like many of us...just it comes out a lot more wild...personalities!! get over it!! The only vessel his "RANTS" as ppl call them..... have in hurting hunting.... is the ...seemingly never ending stream of negative personal attacks hunters on all sites are unleashing...You do nothing but draw attention to him :

They are just chained to trees up and down the shore line where there is easy access....left all year long....even through winter this wasn't bad before it was a state forest...a few here and there ...but was I unpleasantly surprised today when I drove the shore...there are a lot more now

Theres a Lake in a state park that I drive by....I have noticed over the years more and more and more canoes ...row boats and flat bottoms being chained to trees all year long up and down the shore line...now this lake has a boat launch...we use it and it also doesn't have all that many places along the shore for a person with out a boat to throw a line in ...it's these places that the clutter of boats is increasing...taking away shore line space....Do you think in a state park a privileged few should be allowed to do this....What if everyone decided to?

fields are greening the elderberry have popped and the honey suckle brush have budded out....May flowers are just showing and the leeks have the woods green...as well as some wild flowers...I see a favorite right now for deer are the leek greens????surprised me...must be for the nutrients and possible wormer for them?? I know the pine does that as well

I have a dog house...a jake blind...ya know they just hide the front of you...and a chair blind ...they've all worked but the jake is best for moving around for me ...less set up movement and I really like the chair blind but it's one of the first and the front end is just too short and It works best with a shooting stik attached to the barrel...the dog house ...I've actually had deer walk up and stick their heads in the window and look at me...after excitement like that who needs a turkey....lol

I have inadvertently sat at the base of roosting birds ....once a whole flock flew out of the tree and down hill from me...took and 1 1/2hrs from them to come back up....Had bird crapping on me and I couldn't move for spooking them before fly down...Not my sweetest morning : ...and another the Tom I was hunting let out a Gobble on the roost and I nearly wet myself...talk about shocking...geezz...I go in very early... all trails mowed ...and no flash light and I use the same scent control for turkey as I do deer season....spook the deer and you cut your chases of seeing birds...just what I've noted ...for every thing is planned ahead...They just didn't co-operate and roost were I thought they'd be

WISE program and so far WOW...It synchronizes game camera photos to local weather reports and with added info from you ...it will give you charts for movement.... wind speed....temps..... time.... moon phase... buck to doe sightings ...lets you have everything in one spot and gives you logs to record info on...
