thanks guys! he is safe at the butcher shop getting cut up right now so i should have the meat (and head) back within a week or 10 days.... BTW nolts meatcutting in lowville ny dose a great job!!! my favorite so far from them is old style jerky (the sliced stuff) but im getting some venison sticks and slim jims ect this time too so i will need to see what my favorite is...

EXACTLY!!!! thats how i got my buck! normally i would NEVER have been at that spot at 9:00 sat morn but its cause i saw the doe come trotting out 10 min before (from 400 yrds away on the other side of the brush patch) and we decided to try and push more deer out that i got him

and no one (legal) shot him....... o well i guess the poachers r gonna have fun tagging him.... o yeah i forgot they dont use tags.....

saw two bunnies while out deer hunting this eve......... to bad i dont have a ruger single six in 22 lr (my dream revolver, one just like grandpa has) i had gr8 opportunitys for shots but i was DEER hunting and a 150 gr 308 bullet is slightly overkill lol

i used the nys conservationist magazine weight tape today and it said: 166 live, 130 dressed, 74 lbs edible meat.... i used it by the instructions so i think its right

i will prob once im 18 for now no but just some common sense for u all how many times have u been patted down by a dec officer i mean come on! if u have ur pistol IWB holster or something close to that and get stopped i can guarantee the officer is not gonna go feeling around between ur legs.... (great way to get kicked in the face) just a thought... now i can understand that law if ur HUNTING w the pistol but for self defence... come on! i would tell the officer that is infringing on my 2nd amendment rights and that i have no intention of hunting w it but i WILL NOT leave my self defence weapon at home when i very well may need it.... Rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it!!!!!!!

wow cool! the only one ive ever found was several yrs ago while disking in the spring it was laying in the middle of the field and i saw it and stopped.... it was a left side 5 pt the cool thing was i took it over to the neighbor and he had a pic of that buck Jan 1st at midnight it was a really nice 10 pt i think he is still out there cause i never heard he was shot he would prob be about a 12 pt now and prob about 3.5 to 4 yrs old which reminds me ive been hearing rumors from a lot of neighbors bout a nice 12 pt thats hangin out somewhere in the area.............. to bad i allready filled my buck tag this yr

the best way to solve that prob is to get a extension cord winder the ones that look like a big H they work good for keeping ropes and stuff untangled

take it and leave a note to contact you for a return OR go talk to em and try and see if it was an honest mistake.... i bet you would sure hate if you accidentaly put up a stand on someones property and they just smashed it or took it without giving you a chance to explain....... try to take advantage of there tactics is all i can think of. for example sit along some deer escape routes and shoot em as they escape....
