yeah guys waddaya think ive never done food plots so i dont no but i am thinkin of doin a small one next year

yeah its not about the weight capacity its about a strap made in china out of cheap material and then add snow ice wind ^^^dry rot^^^ tree growth bugs ect ect ect and THATS why i use them (the big ones) it just took a near miss to bring me to my senses to do it that way

yeah i no the feeling, for myself anyway (im only 15, no kids lol)...... personaly i throw away the rachet straps that come w some stands and use the 2 ton yellow ones, i started that after going out to take down a hang on stand this spring and on the spur of the moment steped on to it sorta "testing" it and the strap let loose fortunantly i had the sense to hold on before i stepped onto it and i just swung myself right back over to the limb that i had stood on before stepping onto the stand but it scared me good and i replaced all my straps....... i got a crate of the straps at a garage sale for around 5 bucks so ive got plenty to use

Its not supposed to!!!!! at least thats what i think..... ive never ever seen a ladder stand that the foot platform contacts the tree, if im wrong please correct me but my cousin has one like that and the foot platform dosent contact and it works fine..... no offence ment..... EDIT ok sorry i c what u mean i googled them and looked at some pictures i guess i was just assuming that all ladder stands are the same..... sorry

thats exactly it! i dont unload my gun till i get to my truck period then i remove the magazine and shell from the chamber

in my book a gun w a shell in the chamber is loaded no matter what, no shell = not loaded so really u could just remove the shell from the chamber and leave the magazine in till u get to the truck 4 wheeler ect. apon which u need to remove that also

Yes they do i shot my first deer (doe) last yr over a harvested soybean/corn field (actually half corn half beans we ran out of corn seed) she came out and fed across the soybeans to the edge of the corn then turned right around and was almost back to the woods when i shot her..... i think thats good enuf proof for me good luck gettin some nice deer this yr

i can tell you right now that will NEVER happen and even if it did thats one law that no one would listen too. i myself have spent lots of $$$$$ on stands saftey harneses ect and i would be mad if it would all go down the drain........ my codolences to this guys family and wanna remind you all to always wear a harness and make sure its a good 1, not a old style but a full body and make sure u have a way to get back up or down to the ground if u fall...... -joe

one of my best friends got his first deer w a bow last eve, a spike, he has been hunting for years ( hes 17 lives in PA) and has quite a few NICE bucks under his belt, just in the past 2 yrs he has got into bow hunting (not sure what bow hes got its a hoyt compound i no) but i just wanted to give him a thumbs up.....
