Thank that's all I need to know..... another question when should I start the scrape dripper and also how do you make a mock scrape?

Hey guys I bought a magnum scrape dripper, a bottle of active scrape, and a bottle of tinks no1 doe-p down at the wally world on sale last winter so it won't kill me to lose a few bucks but I need to find out if there legal or not. I'm under the impression it is cause its not bait of any type but I wanna no for sure. Thanks

Let's not beat him up guy's. He is a 15 year old young man learning to be an ethnical hunter. He has just gotten off on the wrong foot. I know we all have made mistakes in the past. We live and learn by them. Joseph from one hunter to another you may want to follow mxsmitz201 advise and read the book. When somebody gets caught by the DEC doing something illegal, telling them that you did not know that law will get you no place but the tickets he was going to give you anyway. It is your responsibility as a hunter to know all the laws of DEC if you wish to hunt. If you are unsure if something is legal or not, check with your local DEC before doing something or ask the folks here on this forum. I know I will help any younger hunter become a better hunter if I can. Good luck this season and read that book because I did not know is NO excuse. Yes I knew that (about corn and such) but for some reason I thought mineral blocks were different but that misunderstanding has now been cleared up thanks to you guys.... ( also you possibly saved me from a citation and fine in the future ) lol I'm serious, thanks guys there's nothing I like better than learning from fellow hunters, especially fellow NYer's

i dont cause i dont bowhunt i want to get into it some day but killing a buck is higher on my list than bow hunting (hopefully i fufill that dream this yr)

ya i pull all my blocks before season but didnt get that one done.......... i forgot about bow season lol i like the wanted poster idea might be something to try

Anyone know this guy? i caught him on my land and would like to find out who it is ive had problems w some guys before and would like to know the people around here so i can tell who it is. got 3 opening morn. i got 1 (tom) dad got 1(hen) and best friend got 1 (tom) my fav way is just run around and look for em and then run an gun, we were actually on our way back to camp in my friends gmc jimmy (our Camp is Way offroad back in the middle of our land) we had drove to were we were hunting anyway we were drivin along and i saw some turkeys dissapearing into the woods up a ridge so we stopped got out our guns loaded them and ran up the ridge i saw 1 and got him w 1 shot them while i was takin him back to the vehicle my dad shot his farther on up the ridge and while we were up w him lookin at his we flushed a couple more and got some flyin shots then we took a walk back thru a swamp in the direction they flew one flew up and me and my friend both shot him ( he shot first and it Kept flying as it fell so i shot it again) any way we all carried our turkeys back threw em in and drove back to camp were we gutted em and then went home it was really fun tho.... both toms had 1/2 spurs and mine had a 7 in Beard and my friends had an 8 in. The next day was my birthday when i turned 15 and we had a bunch of my friends over and ate our turkeys...

yes u may i called a dec officer last yr w the same question...... but just to make sure i am understanding what ur saying u are asking if its legal to carry a shotgun or rifle during reg season, am i correct? from what i understand here is a list of legal implements for during reg season: Rifle Bow Muzz Shotgun Handgun Crossbow i am not sure EXACTLY what ALL the rules are (example: pistol barrels need to be 6in. i think) but i think the answer for you is yes.
