Of course , not that i would know from experience, ive heard stories from other hunters.

Funny what sounds will alert a deer, i had a 4 pointer bed down under my treestand opening weekend of archery ,well my phone rang and guess who forgot to turn the ringer off (this guy) ,not even a flintch out of the bedding deer he didn't even turn an ear.

Ive been walking around the house all day pissed to no end , prime 90 acre plot completely shut down to any deer activity from a select few people who seem to think putting up tree stands the last week of archery wrapped in plastic tarps is a good idea (neighbors on 2 sides) and one other guy who my buddy lets hunt there that got a new climber this year and decided he wants to move locations every 2 hours (he has had the last 2 weeks off work and has done it for 14 days straight) Two trail cams only show activity from about 10pm til 3 am ,all the monster bucks we were seeing the week before archery on the cams are long gone . Im already racking my brain to come up with a new hunting location for next year .

Got this guy dining on left overs from that nights coyote dinner,got the pics of the coyotes ripping into somwhere , im they dragged it from the open filed right in front of the camera.

Consistancy is the key ,i made a slip collar for my ram so i know im not over or under packing,sticky round or what not, im shooting a CVA apex and kicks some serious butt with 100g of BlackHorn and 300g shockwave.Im also rather new to it aswell.I won a shotgun at a raffle and got the smoke pole instead.

Ill have to stop at the local office get me a fallow deer stamp tomorrow and make it legit , i can hear it "A fallow what stamp" Now im wondering if it will reproduce with a whitetail ,the rut is fastly aproaching and who knows,we might have some funky looking racks popping up in a few years (fingers crossed)

I honstly cant stop thinking what would have gone through my mind if it walked under my treestand this morning.

I was actually thinking it escaped from a farm maybe, my buddy was able to follow it through the field briefly and snap some more photos with out it running off.

Hunting today in southern district 9, my buddy calls me up to his house to show me some pictures him and his wife recently took,first we thought elk but it has a paddle on the antlers.The quality is crappy but tomorrow he will email me the actual pictures instead of the ones i took of his computer screen.
