Ya ' i have always done them outside in a metal 5 gallon bucket over the turkey frier burner , I havent done one at the new house yet though , i think ill do it in the cover of darkness and give the neighbors something to talk about "the mystery smell "

I'm gonna boil another deer head this weekend, does anybody got any tips to keep the stink down? Right now I just add some Ten Mule Team borax but it still has some nasty smell coming off .What a way for me to introduce myself to all my new neighbors!

If i had collected a bunch of treestands on my property i would put them out by the road for sale for sure , a win win situation for sure.

The guys land I hunt just had his brother in law in town, while in town he got his hunting tag.Now that he has left he signed his tag over to me to fill, is this a legal transfer of a tag, I've never received or transferred a tag before and wanted to make sure it was legit before I did something wrong.

Because bow hunting takes alot more skill than gun hunting does for starters and hopefully those first 2 years will teach the new hunters about being responsible for the projectile you are about to let fly through the woods. I cant count how many times this season alone i hear people pray and spray the woods instead of actually hunting the animal and killing it with one ethical deadly shot , if archery season doesn't teach that than nothing does.

Where i live , we have BIG city bucks . I saw a good sized 8 and a forker in the cemetary so i pulled in and grabbed the grunt call (one of those adjustable deals)well i gave a quick blast with it and you swear both of them got whiplash from turning their heads towards the woods so fast ,im guessing they have already told once. I rarely have any luck while out hunting though.

Should be mandatory 2 years of archery before being allowed to go out with a gun .

I tried a couple kinds of pellets ,even the white hots and they were all so filthy.

I would be too nervous to sit in a blind , it hides the hunter orange as well .

I had a buck on top of my dads equinox a few years ago with the tag inside the vehicle (filled out) ,he asked for it and i told him him i didn't want it to blow off during transport and he said good idea ,completely cool and profesional about it.

I was seeing what i thought was to much blow by with my stock breech plug usisng the white hot pellets , the BH breech plug fits so much better and has reduced the blow by to null , i haven't checked it but from my experience i would say it has .002 -.003 press on the primer which seals nicely and doesn't distort the primer housing.

Ive been hunting the Cuba deer for about 8 years now , hardest place i have hunted for sure .

I switched to Blackhorn last year,100 g with 300g shockwave and federal primers in my Apex . I push a brush and then a clean patch between every shot ,i like to shoot the the gun as if im sitting in the stand waiting for the "one".I figure if i hunt with a clean barrel i should sight it in with a clean barrel. I did buy the BH breech plug for the apex before i shot it so i cant compare to the stock brech plug.
