I was thinking of shooting lighted nocks .Will my set up change from the slightly heavier nock? If you are shooting them what kinds are you shooting or do you have any reviews on a certain brand Thanks in advance,Jeremy

I used almost 4 pounds , i broke it into smaller portions after it was done and wrap them in paper towles and put into plastic bags in the fridge left open to let moisture escape . If the paper towel gets moist i change them.Mine didn't sit around too long once i ate my share and gave some away.

I just did my first batch last week with the gun, I used the store bought season and cure . In my gas oven at 200 degrees it took about 3.5 hours with the door open the first stop.

Not sure how the powerbelts shoot ,i shoot the shockwaves . Seems like you would want to find a good load that shoots from a clean barrel if you are gonna hunt with it , i push a brush and patch between every shot just to simulate the first shot on a hunt.I thought i read somewhere that it should take about 20-25 lbs of force to push the projectile down the barrel.

CVA , i shoot an Apex which is absolutley surgical , the CVA accura also comes with a bergara barrel and is hard to beat . CVA stuck it to the overpriced hot shots the first year out with the best rated production muzzleloader for 2009.

Just got in from clearing the driveway , my cousin drives the plow truck so im gonna have to ask him why i had 3 times as much snow at the end of my drive compared to the neighbors . A crude joke i tell ya

I wish camouflage would go on sale ,it stays way over priced year long . Does anybody really spend 200 dollars just for an archery coat.Some nice clothes out there but way to expensive.

Its honestly dont know if i could lock myself in the house and battle to death over my guns ,but i know for sure i wont be able to look at myself in the mirror proudly if i just hand them over. -
I use them . I'll keep my handguns in the gun vault for easy access . I keep other stuff around the house for quick retrieval in case of emergency like an ax handle in the closet or ball bat behind the door.

I was raised to question things , not be a yes man . Who would raise someone to just accept what is being fed to them through the politically driven media . Ill have to take note that if you don't believe what the news is feeding you than you must be a "looneytune" got it ! thanks guys.

Its one of those everything cleaners , that coke head started selling it on tv infomercials and then it went main stream . Here is one i did ,you'll have to excuse the decorations but its a small price to pay to be able to hang deer skulls on the living room wall , G/F gets to hang stuff on them once a year.

I just used some kind of 40 percent peroxide or some thing from the beauty salon to whiten it , i actually over boiled this past one and the teeth were coming loose and the bones on the schnoz were really loose ,it all tightened back up once dry , one tip i have that i havent heard anyone doing is to final wash with oxy clean , i tried it a couple years ago because it was sitting there and every skull i have done comes out like a piece chalk ,very white.

Friday , ill be in a 70 acre plot that has been barely touched this whole season ,the center is swamp land . Saturday morning ,in the ground blind ,close to the "monster" sightings , get there before the dinks from the nearby camp come in and hopefully get something pushed to me.Sunday will be in a not so promising spot, however it will be with my father , time spent with the "ol'man" these days is just as good to me as a good day hunting.
