I tried using one of the aps on my galaxy and didn't realize that i screwed up downloading the maps when i got to where i was hunting. -
Have you tried putting the large (back pain style) heated pads across the kidney portion of your back , its amazing how much they help ,not so sure if a medical condition limits the effectivness , worth a try to anybody who gets cold while sitting in the woods.

Goes with what you are saying about people being nice , my last 2 places i lived , i would and still do snow blow the side walks and driveway aproaches for my neighbors and not even getting a friendly wave from them when they drive away when they see you outside.

Would you guys rather miss clean or not see anything that day , i would rather not see anything than miss clean , missing just haunts you for ever ,im usually over not seeing anything before i get out in the woods for the next hunt.

Its nice to see and read from the some true hunters , i was starting to think we were all but gone , i cant count how much pray and spray i hear ever year ,so many hacks out there now .

The beginining of his post was putting down a .223 in combat and i just happen to know someone who has put his life behind the muzzle of a .223 and wanted to share his experience . You guys have got me thinking about taking my AR to the field next year but im having so much fun with my muzzleloader right now.

I showed my brother your post just to get a milatary persons perspective (US Marine) He said he would be willing to start at one entrance of a building with an AR-15 and you can start at the other entrance of the building with your M1 and see who makes it out the other side of the building (hint ,he said it won't be you) how could you possible sweep an interior of a building with a rifle that is so long and heavy .

Shooting a CVA Apex , i had zero luck with those white hott pellets ,did some research on some muzzleloader sites and came up with 100g of Blackhorn 300g shockwave and a federal 209 shot primer .

I just saw on ancient aliens tv show that big foot is indeed lowered from a UFO to do the hunting for the aliens and then returns to the ship , seems like he is just a fellow hunter like us. It has to be true or they couldn't put it on tv.

Nothing wrong with 4 deer ,i just never got into turning a field full of deer into a shooting gallery , thats all. Some people dont have the luxury of spending multiple days hunting and have to get it done while they can . I guess im just lucky to be able to shoot one deer at a time i guess.

I'm not greedy, I'll take one at a time, if I miss I'll just stop at the supermarket and buy food on the way home . I enjoy being out in the woods the lo.guest I can, I was upset my season was over before I even finished dragging my deer to the truck, now waiting patiently for pray and spray to end and heat up the muzzleloader again.

My cva never has problems with internal breech threads getting shitted up, seems like a nice sale gimmick they have dreamed up

Not as dumb as the guy i saw going into the woods opening day in a full deer skin pants and jacket ,had the fringe down the arms and legs , my dad and i nearly ourselves laughing .

I bought my bushmaster dcm-xr because i wanted to get into bench shooting scopeless ,long shots impress me but long shots with no glass really impress me .

Also curious how my AR would do against a deer , i asked my brother who is a marine and he said if you cant kill a deer with an AR than you are a shitty shooter , if you put a round through the lungs and heart you shouldn't have much to worry about.

I use the bleach paste for use on hair after i boil the meat off ,its rather thick and goes on with a paint brush , a few coats of that and then i finish wash and rinse with oxy clean .
