So nothing has changed? What a waste of time..........

I feel sorry for those of you who's wife or family (or YOU!) won't eat venison but I certainly understand. I feel so fortunate that my wife and family all enjoy venison so much that we'd be lost without it. Tonight my wife made stuffed peppers with ground but not with just ANY ground! Last night I put a big neck roast from last fall's gun buck in the fridge to start the thawing process. Today I sliced the meat into strips and ran it through the grinder. It was tremendous......... No pics of the peppers but I do have this:

I use it when I’m desperate to know where a gobbler has gone after being silent for too long and I need to leave or make a move NOW. It’s a last ditch effort that I maybe use once or twice a year. I just leave the rubber band on my box call and shake......it sounds great to me!!

Persistence is a worthy trait. Hopefully you got the right day and the right bird soon.....how’s the bugs? Went Harriet Hollister yesterday for a picnic and black flies were pesky.

They demand more respect than that.......it's not that they're dumb, more the fact they are wary and always on alert.

Were there any white turkey in the flock? A farmer could have had a fence come down and they were all domestic birds......that could explain a lot of it.

Past history in general......you know it. It's no big deal, what comes out from personalities from time to time is indicative to there true personality. I can look back and certainly see my bad traits coming out whether it's on the open forum or in my daily life. It is what it is.......

Went out on the Erie Canal at the Amherst NY boat launch today with the Mrs......the water was absolutely disgusting. I don't know WTF but suspect due to heavy rain the other night, the Town of Amherst sewage treatment plant had to unload some excess material?? Gross is too pleasant.........

Pretty tough to get motivated in warm & humid conditions.......buggy too for most folks.
