I've been reading more, seems like a vented propane heater is better than a vent free but a vented heater cost more than I really want to spend. If I were just using the buddy heater for a few hrs while hunting no big deal but I plan on sleeping in this during deer season with my son and don't want to worry about it. Seems like a small wood stove properly installed should be worry free and might cost less than a vented system. Thoughts?

I just read another article from an hvac guy who said he wouldn’t ever consider sleeping in a room with something like a ventless heater. Would a wall unit vented outside be a little better or just sleep with a window open?

Sweet idea, that was another thing I thought about if we stay in it for day or two, a wood stove would be great for cooking on.

It will be elevated but I haven't decided on 2 twin beds above or just 2 recliner chairs. Deff a battery operated detector. I believe Mr Buddy has something built in so I'd have 2 different detectors.

So 2 for the buddy, I figured most would lean that way.

So I'm looking to build an enclosed deer stand that my Son and I can hunt from and also sleep in overnights. I'm torn between both options, Mr Buddy is cheaper and sent free but theirs something about a wood stove that's adds an additional element to the whole experience.

Great move and great return. He doesn't have the natural mechanics, foot work of a true passer or great down field vision. They are primed with pics and should be an interesting few months

Well the bids came in while I was on vacation last week and they came back a good amount higher then they estimated. So far so good. One question I have is what should I plant on the logging roads when the clean them up.
