He almost looks like he could be a 3.5, but think about what he'll look like late November after the rut and he sheds some lbs I'd say 2.5

LIVE From The Woods 2018 - Lets hear stories and see some pictures!

Gotta say it's nice to actually just sit in the woods, to see bird's and so forth. Seem like most times spent in the woods I'm running around doing things. Feels good to enjoy the woods again!- 10374 replies

Yeah it won't hold up to heavy snow. I'd set it up for bow season and make a natural blind to gun hunt in.

I say 99% young, not 100 because there is no clear pic of his body but looks like a classic young buck to me.

Seriously

I was watching a hunting show and the guy used a pair of Nikon's with the rangefinder built in to them, I said sweet till I saw the price, yikes I'll keep my old pair and use a separate rf.

I got my hunting cloths washed last night, so that’s a start I guess

Yikes that sucks, I got a guy if u need one

How could they do that?

Slim chance but he'll make over a couple hills to our place, but someone's gonna get a crack at him. http://www.thelcn.com/lcn05/woods-and-waters-mysterious-deer-roaming-hills-in-livingston-county-20180922

X2, sons doing football and baseball, today was football practice, baseball tryouts for next years team and a baseball game, tomorrows football game and baseball tryouts again, that's my weekend life thru Oct. I haven't even dusted off the bow. I did get my stands checked out last weekend.

Forgot to add this pic, on the way out on the wheelers (we had just gone thru earlier) we drove up on this doe and yearling not 30yrs in front of us, we turned the wheelers off and they had no care in the world we we're right there.

Looks good man!

Well between football and baseball for my son, I got up for a quick look, saw a boat load of deer where he's been cutting.
-
Price was better than I expected especially since we just did a select cut and only had them look at half the property. I'm excited to see how it hunts the entire season for sure
-
That would be neat to see now and again in a few yrs.

Ok good to know he said he'd plant something unless we provided what ever blend we wanted, but sounds likes he got that covered, thanks for the tip

Yes sir!

I'm excited, they are going to doze out the stumps when they clean up the trails. They will also be planting the logging roads and we picked up a new compact jh with a brush hog to mow the trails

Well early this spring we decided to have half the property logged. Well they finally showed up just over a week ago to get started. I figured I'd post some pics as I get up each weekend to check it out. Part of the deal was for them to clear out about 1-2 acres so I can plant a plot in that will benefit the area greatly. I'm excited to see how this section hunts this fall as they plan on being done in the next week or two.
