Dale was great calling it. I came in to get out of the sun for awhile and cool off but we're cooking out by the beach later so I'll miss the end, not as fun without Dale. Larry I just youtubed the Pepsi 400 race the Dale Jr won on his first race at Daytona since sr passed, what a great ending that was!

But not pushing can lead to quitting not only with this but other challenges she might face. The reality is if she shot well she would be feeling much better and would be building confidence. Instead the shoot went bad and her confidence went with it. It natural for a child to feel the failure and want to quit and hide. I would let it sit for a few days and get back at it, maybe tell her once she shoots (blank well) she has the choice to hang it up or keep going. That way she has a goal to reach if she truly wants to quit she can once she reaches it, hopefully when she does reach it she will have built confidence and will want to achieve more with it. Just my 2 cents

I watched the opening ceremony on NBC last night, im glad I did because I was asleep 5 minutes.

Well our forrester marked the trees and gave us an estimate that was a bit higher than I expected and we're leaving the other block alone. He'll clear the food plot and do some other minor work with the dozer. For our mature block of pines he will have to sub that work out to someone else so we can thin them out quite a bit and get some new regeneration and cover. So far so good.

All right boys I didn't look thru the thread it would take me days but I'm thinking this would score pretty high. It's a garbage plate wrap, cheeseburger, Mac, fries and hot sauce. My buddy told me about it, they messed up his order and delivered him this by accident. It's pretty darn good

The lady looks like she just saw a ghost. Her legs and hands must be broken because I haven't seen her stand or clap. All in all I think it was a good speech and call me crazy but I think he makes a lot of sense.

One thing you might wanna do is let your neighbors know that your going to have a select harvest. They might decide to have theirs done too and could yield you a higher price because they can pull out more timber for the job.

Yeah Corey at future Forrest is great. He did our pond, he also does clearing for food plots. He is doing our logging and I'm having him clear out a spot for a food plot out of the profit.

That was a nice looking tree. Great smell when you cut them isn't it. Yesterday and today we're nice times to enjoy the outdoors

Im well aware of the difference. This is a tsi project like I mentioned but instead of just cutting the trees completely down ( how I use to with tsi) I'm hinge cutting them. Look the tree still dies even though I hinged it and the other remaining more desirable trees benefit from the additional spacing and sun light. Its still accomplishing the same thing.

Not surprised it's full already. I'm thinking I'll let the pond sit for a yr and probably start stocking it next yr.

Surprisingly my schedule and weather aligned today and got some cutting in. Didn't find any horns but tons of deer scat all around.
