Down in the lower section of the woods for the morning sit. Not really an ideal bow, but I'm this is more of a scouting sit. Haven't been down this far this season, it's an opportunity to scout and observe. Have a feeling the big boys are still holding up down here.

Just had another young buck stroll through below me.

Just saw another young buck scouting the area, I've been seeing a lot of late morning movement the last two days.

I had a Bobcat in range last year, in Swain.

I have an 8G for an 8A.

Same thing at all the branches, couldn't pick up 8A either. I was at Wally world in hornell.

Just had a young six stroll through, sniffing the ground pretty good. Lol ones are seeking.

He will be near water if the second shot was no good. The toxins from the gut shot will overwhelm him of thirst. Hope he's just over the ridge tho... All the same he should be dead by MORNING, just wait till morning.

Been in stand now for 45 MIN. THe woods are talking this morning, leaves are crispy and wind iis calm. First sit in this stand this season. I just tagged it 'Vineyard Square'; 40ft of vines to my left and right, parallel with my line of sight. Can't (shouldn't) get busted from the sides here.

Wet out, but that's ok. Sitting with my youngest boy for the day. Hope we see some action. Got lucky with my oldest last year. I think this ones still jealous.

All in the last 10 minutes; Turkey walking be hind me, a hawk gunning for squirrels and a coyote sneaking through. MAN, I'm so not missing work right now

Kicked several turkey out of their roost, as I approached my tree for the day. Unfortunately that caused a few deer to start huffing and puffing at me. Made for an entertaining start. Just had a young ugly make some scrapes and sent marks all around me... Ahhh, what a thrill. He had about 12 points, but only four of them were over two inches.... Till next year (or the year after) my friend.

Just dropped one a half hour ago... 65 yds out getting down now, can't wait to get my hands warm.... The earned way!

Gave it my all till 10:15, tomorrow is another day. Won't be much warmer tho.
