My Char-Griller grill is getting tired and ugly after 10+ years outside 365 but it still throws heat like hell and hard for me to get rid of. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Depends on weight that varies and how you want it processed. Here it's $1400-1800. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Definitely not processing. They are distributing food. I can see meat getting low but not running out. Larger operations and supply chains will fizzle but small mom and pop butchers will thrive. Already a tend around here. Plus people raising steer or pigs in back yards where allowed will be more prevalent. Cant pick up all the deficit but some of it. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Not meaning to get into harvest choices here or poaching but being involved with QDM I get a lot of "meat hunters" telling me they shot a yearling buck or this specific deer because "I needed the meat". We eat almost all venison throughout the year. Past season I hunted non-qdm and public ground to fill antlerless tags where it was justified as we had already met quota on qdm property I had access to. I havent once worried about meat during this and wont until season arrives. I know at least a handful of "meat hunters" I'm friends with that had to go buy meat because they ran out of the little they had to begin with. Makes you rethink whether or not many hunters have truly been hunting because they "need the meat". I do think QDMA Field to Fork program mentees we helped harvest deer are even more grateful in a time like this. We already talking the demand for these programs might go up. These events bring about a more true context of the word 'need' for sure. I feel we dont really hunt for the need of meat. Maybe that might change a bit now. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

I was just at DMNA (Nation Guard) headquarters facility. They are already and have been helping distribute food just not working for a for-profit business like you suggest. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Stick baits work well too and if you have enough to rehook blood worms. Vast majority of time my cousin uses live herring though. We caught limit within 10 minutes in the tributary and then off for strippers down stream. Herring soon will be all over to catch though. We even netted some canabalizing the bait and swapped out some of the bigger ones. Gotta keep them lively and cant be huge. Circle hook and trebble hooked. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Gotta use live bait up here or you'll hardly ever catch anything. Gotta catch herring before you can catch stripers. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Yea fishing pretty good down river by you for bigger ones. They run the gauntlet to get up to us way up here. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Local brew from Brown's Brewery on the back deck. Peter's pale ale. Recipe by master brewer Peter Martin who died in a tractor accident. Lived right down the road from the farm. Cheers Peter. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
