  1. You think about 1% is a small minority - around 2000 out of 200,000? I think in the science community this would be considered statistically insignificant
  2. You sure are getting a lot of mileage from one smart alek comment, Steve-O. One remark that showed your true character - yes and thank you for doing so.
  3. Bill - you are right. Just thought how low it was for someone to want to trade helping the disabled for something to further his own agenda. I'll say it again - pathetic.
  4. 30 yds and under is my limit with a recurve. Definately at a distinct disadvantage over someone with a compound. And a crossbow has no better ballistics or killing power then a compound. With your reasoning, my neighbor should not be allowed to use a compound?
  5. Actually all 3 have made excellent, factual points on the "message". Everyone one of which where dismissed or ignored.
  6. Equally fun to see you miss the point completely and revel to all your true character. Again, thanks.
  7. The one you refuse to acknowledge oh shameful one
  8. So if I call you a dumb ass....you should not consider it to be an insult because I believe it to be true? Call me anything you want - I'll give it the same credence I do your opinion - or you shame at your NYB position.
  9. I was called pathetic, evasive, and elitist by post 165. Your counting is biased...You are biased. That would be me - you where and remain evasive and elitist - not an insult when its true. And withholding crossbows from the disabled as a bargaining chip to prevent full inclusion is a pathetic tactic. Still ashamed of your NYB position I see.
  10. Spiker - thanks for answering. Your opinion to me is much more relevant then flingers. Ask around before joining - you will find a lot of ex members - some for several years - who left for a lot of reasons besides the crossbow issue. They do have some great people and programs, but are run from the top down with little to no input taken from the regular members. Cheap enough to join - try it and see what you think.
  11. Geeesshh. Motorcycles have motors. Bicycles do not. Jet skiis have motors. Canoes do not. Chainsaws have motors. Buck saws do not. Guns have gunpwder. Bows do not. Seeing a pattern here? Thanks for answering the NYB question.
  12. I do not understand the reasons why those of you who support crossbow intrusion do so, either. Seems like a level playing field....guys should quit whining. Whatever their reasons, few of them are hiding their identity
  13. You are very good at insulting people. If truth is insulting, I might have a gift. The only hard part is being able to tell if it is more shame then lack of conviction. Starting to look as if it may be shame that is keeping you and spikey from acknowledging your positions with NYB and being proud of them.
  14. Crossbows have been shooting arrows with a string for 2500+ years. Guns and gunpowder are 400 years old. Compounds are 40 years old. I suppose the significance of this will be lost to a couple here.
  15. Looks like shame AND lack of convictions. All reps are public ally identified on the NYB website as well as in Full Draw. And they are a public, nfp corp, although not the subclass a past president claimed until called on it. Having to post your vitriol anonymously just demonstrates what you really are. If I had any propensity to violence over a discussion of archery equipment, would I be using my real name on a public forum? Unlike those who live in the shadows and have a selfish agenda - they need anonymity.
  16. Why are you so scared of NYB officials? Why are they so scared to be known?
  17. I am a bowhunter that has hunted with compounds and recurves. I am associated with NYB and P&Y, and by association, NABC. I think anyone physically able to use a bow but chooing a crossbow instead is a pathetic lazy slob. Such a classless statement. Similar to what an anti hunter would mutter. Just saying.
  18. Its irrelevant, Mr B. What is your affiliation with the American Crossbow Federation? Absolutely none - I hunt with a recurve in bow season. Ashamed of your position? Is that how you guys demonstrate leadership to encourage others to join? Funny how most of those advocating the inclusion of all archery equipment in bow season don't hide their identities, but many of the anti's prefer to be anonymous - why is that?
  19. Mr Flinger - 5 or 6 oages and you haven't answered my question. That is - what is your position with NYB if any?
