AWESOME!!! about time! -
Like the suggestions stated you can plow a dirt road. Its not that hard.My uncle's road was 1/3 mile long and we would plow that with a truck all year.Leave the shoes on and set it around 1-2 inches high, also its probably a good idea to have someone to rescue your butt if you slide off the road as its easy to do the first time the road is plowed.Go slow but but fast enough that the load has momentum so you aren't straining the truck or risking spinning the tires.

That sucks!! I have the badlands atv 3000k winch and love it.Cheap and works great. My friend also grabbed one after he smoked his warn and says he likes the badlands better than the warn.

Any game anyplace, but what was your most memorable day in the woods this year?Mine was November 15th,it started off with a small button buck coming in grunting and by the way he was grunting I could tell he was small. While watching him I found out why he was grunting, another deer broke from a brushy grass choked field with a buck on her butt. The buck let out a huge grunt while chasing he into a overgrown briar choked clearcut.I waited another 30 minutes and then heard the doe run for the field again and the buck was right behind her, then back into the clearcut where I got a good look at him.Big 8 or 10 point and all of 60 yards. While all of this was going on I saw at least another 8 deer between here and there. No big bucks besides the one but they just keep poping out of everywhere. It was about 11am and my feet were froze so I grabbed my stand and took my sweet time setting it up in the small window where most of the deer walked through.I went to the truck ate my lunch and warmed my feet and got right back out there.I climber back in my summit and I was all set for the rest of the sit at 2pm,at 220 I saw legs walking through the thicket and then saw antlers. He was walking away from me so I bleated a dozen or so times and grunted 4-5 times but he didn't care.So I let out a deep loud guttural grunt and he stopped in his tracks and stared at me then started my way from 100 yards. There was a big silver maple in front of my stand and he walked directly inline with it till he got to 20 yards(still behind the tree). He started smelling the air(I could hear him) and stomping his foot because he couldn't find the buck. That's when he started walking again and came out of behind the tree at 8 yards and thats when I let him have it.He went about 40 yards and piled up.My biggest bow buck to date....what awesome day!!! That was my best day in the woods this year, what was yours?

I am looking for a 870 or a Mossberg 500 12 gauge to make into a tactical shotgun.Let me know what you have?

I hope they find that scumbag and stone him in the town square. He probably set the fire so he could shoot the firefighter as they responded.Right before Christmas and this twatwaffle burns someone house down and tries to kill the firefighter that are responding.He/she is a piece of garbage that should be taken out of the gene pool! -
Thats for sure!!!HAHAHA

11/87 3 1/2 guns have a big problem with bending the carrier assembly. The 3 inch guns didnt have that problem that I know of.I have a few friends that are hardcore waterfowlers and they switched from the 1100's/1187's to either a Mossberg 935(1 guy) or a Stoeger 3500(3 guys).Non hae had problems and all love there guns.I would put my cash on a Stoeger but I like pumps for shotguns

Same to you bud

The 17 plain out sucks for yotes. Will it kill them?Sure, but recovery will be difficult even with snow. Headshots would be the only shot for a 17 and I would keep it under 70 yards. If it were between me taking a 17 and a 12 gauge loaded with some stout hevi shot/Turkey loads I would opt for the turkey gun every time.

Unbelievable... but not really.

Thats a bunch of crap right there. If I lived in those counties I would be at the County courthouse demanding a reason for that!! -
Well placed 22 mag shot in the head and boiler room under 100 will do the job.The yote will run off with a heart/lung shot so stay on him for follow ups.Head shots are harder but if you hit em right them they wont go to far. What 223 are you looking for?I have a savage bolt I may get rid of because I just picked up a AR.Shoots lights out!!

No trigger for me,all but one is in the safe and that one is in a speedsafe

I read this and thought I would share......
MACHINIST replied to First-light's topic in General Chit Chat
thank you,I am forwarding this to my pastor. -
after reading this I called cabelas as I buy quite a bit through them and also visit the store in PA once a year.I asked "the lady" on the phone and she knew nothing about it but put me over to a "service specialist".Their hours are like bankers hour so they will be back on monday.First thing Monday I will be calling them.If in fact this is true I will not buy things from them and support places like midwayusa. They are starting to sell almost everything cabelas does anyhow.
