I get it but he also may have just set up some of his citizens for big trouble...one overzealous homeowner who knocks down a thug for just walking near his front door will not stand a chance in hell for using deadly force against a looter with a stick or a brick or anything else(with the exception of a fire arm). Same for a few Westchester PD towns. Another friend is a NYFD and said last night in the Bronx where he is stationed was like a war zone...radio calling them in every direction at once. Town where I teach had a “vigil” last night- perfectly peaceful and nicely done- although I didn’t recognize (via FB pics-I was too busy driving home from Roscoe to attend) more than a handful of the attendees in a small town I’ve lived around for 40+ years. Well actually we crushed it today..my buddy and I each got two nice browns, 2 12”” and a bunch of little ones, GREEN DRAKES arrived around 1:00, caddis all day, grey fox, blue wing olive and rusty spinner. Great but bizarre day. Not any real consistent hatch or rises but we were into fish all day...not ONE sub surface even though I was fishing a dropper all morning under a green apple caddis. Drakes should be steady by mid to late week Missing a tail section?!?
