One of my boys has always been Into food (remembers vacations by the dinner we had!) and now since we are home has been cooking his ass off. Chicken and waffles is his latest Who knew Costco made a “real” maple syrup!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

And the 4th looked just like all of these stockies!!! All hit either a zig bug or prince trailed behind a bead head pheasant tail. Caddis and a dark Hendrickson were out and about but not splashy splashy!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sad fact...I never shot a woodchuck! I didn’t start hunting until the late 90’s and even then mostly just public lands with little fields to house the critters. Now even fields infested seem leery of allowing access. Anyone ever successfully connect with a bow?!? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Most of my left over dinner meats get diced up, thrown in caste iron pan with generous pats of butter and ramps(these days) . After they crisp I crack two eggs over the top and cover until yolks are set but still runny Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I did the double fry with home cut fried last night. Came great! I think Chef is suggesting that same process with wings. Fry at a low temp (275) until mostly cooked. Take out and cool for later. When ready to eat, jack up the temp on your DEEP FRYER (ignore TF!) and cook until desired color and crispness. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wow...I just liked a comment from Rattler and Split in the same conversation? What neither of them can do (which I feel I have done by liking both comments-not ideologies) is listen to the extreme on each side, hear where they are coming from, take from it what I want, and let them be where they be cause that’s their right. That’s a fair statement if you feel that presentation is more powerful than production. It use to be that our president was both. Now, because the most capable presidents would never sacrifice their lives for the office I feel we need to choose one or the other....I select/elect productivity for USA over presentation. I do respect your thought however Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I just watche Howard Stern’s Private Parts again...”Average Stern fans listen for 90 minutes- reason: they want to hear what he would say next...average Stern haters listened for 2.5 hours...reason- want to hear what he would say next!” He is winning!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ve steamed the wings before for about 10 minutes...dry them and let them sit...then either roast on high heat to finish/crisp or plunge in the golden bath!!! Alton Brown from Food Network is my go-to guy for making basic stuff right. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

But look at all the good he has done(many listed by Robhuntandfish) and the policies he has changed (mostly economic and right in his wheel house) under the cover of everyone yelling at him for being crude. He gives them(left media) the sound bite that they focus on and rage about and hold him up as an ass-hat, and he continues (almost quietly) to MAGA! He is quite calculated in his moves IMO-many billionaires are-and when he knows what he doesn’t know(dealing with a pandemic), he delegates. Would I like him to be more “presidential”? Sure. But if you think about it, he has only really bitch slapped the swamp, just like he promised he would do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Is that what that was....when I grabbed that dead head from the swamp this winter I thought is was a Squatch screaming!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Trump is a puppet as is every other modern politician. He was strategically used by the Rep party to flush out the lunacy on the left(Pelosi/Schumer/AOC...etc). They used his brusque egomaniacal tendencies to “tweet away” and “pull no punches” and “instigate” reactions from the left. Did any of us really know anything about Pel/Shumer/etc prior to Trump? He is also a respected (if not feared) man of finance who brought confidence of the 1%’ers back to the American economy. He reminds me of a manager that was brought into the Country club where I run the summer camp. The club was struggling and “lost its way.” This guy came in and fired people, changed policy, called out the “untouchable” members and even some staff who were too comfortable. He was there for three years, cleaned house, reset the club and then an actual club manager rebuilt the club when he was done. Unfortunately I don’t know if there is an actual presidential person left in our society - and if there is would he (or she!) be willing to suffer the scrutiny of the presidency?
