I guarantee that MOST PEOPLE (including the majority of hunters-remember many are just opening day warriors) think it is ok feed deer outside of the season. I only had one dog besides the little piss ants from childhood that I don’t claim as “mine.” Trico was a Brittany and must say (with some serious prejudice) that he was the best family dog that also hunted his ass off on the weekends. Trico was my first dog so I never trained a dog to be a pet or hunt. However with a bunch of reading, asking questions and time, I did all the training myself. For the hunting training I relied on NAVHDA for my support and guidance- chapters are located throughout the state. Trico also came from really strong lines which deserves more credit than what I did with him. He was awesome IN SPITE OF ME!!! Putting him down in August sucked. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My in laws live up near Boston and when I was planning on asking, my sister happened to be up there taking her kid to a Red Sox game the following night. My sister took my soon to be fiancé out so I could talk to her father. She left my nephew home with me and that kid wouldn’t leave me alone. Every time I was about to ask, he came running in with a new game or question or BS. Eventually I told him to go hide...I spoke to her father and then ran to go find my nephew....it was a good excuse to get leave my FIL alone as he is not a talker...still isn’t.
