    One of the worst I heard was from my aunt who was cleaning out under the back deck. A carpenter ant fell onto HER EAR. It continued to burrow deeper and deeper into the ear and wouldn’t come out, trying to bore through her eardrum. Had to be removed at the ER.     It turns out that my BIL is into watches now....same guy who was once into wines and cigars once and bought a fly rod after watching A River Runs Through It(went once, filled his waders and never returned)....would have had a Pet Rock if he was older in the 80s.     Ok for the rod = surgery. But WTF is up with the spine? It must have been moving oddly prior to your buddy shooting it? I would think that spine impacts the gait? Did he know ahead of time and make a “mercy kill?” Extra large, golf ball size = something went wrong.
