And it seems that the MAIN thing people are forgetting here is that I nor anyone else with more moderate views of the world on this forum are the ones STARTING any threads claiming that our views are irrefutable facts. It is some with the more radical views on the far right of the political spectrum who start these threads here and then go off the deep end when someone brings out views contrary to theirs. So now tell me, who are the ones STARTING this BS here??? Maybe if you boys would stop starting these BS posts things wouldn't be as bad here? The ball is in your corner. Just don't think if you continue these type of posts that you won't be called out, for we are not obliged to agree with them just because we are hunters and gun owners.

And yet another 2nd grade response... your freedoms have already been taken you just aren't smart enough to see it... carry on puppet. As long as you are the only smart one we will be OK. LOL Doewacker is a dedicated husband, father, all around sensible and good guy, and last but not least, he has one heck of a good sense of humor. The one thing a good many of you on the "right" side lack. You boys must crap rocks or something to get you in such dispositions whenever someone counters your points of view in the slightest.

No, I don't take shots at anyone's profession. We all do different things in life and any honest living should not be demeaned. He claims to post only irrefutable FACTS, so if he was an honors student as he posted in another thread, I would think that he wouldn't need to work in the blazing sun all day long either. I would have thought that all his smarts would have put him in a better position than that. I know people who weren't honors students and some that didn't even attend college who put themselves in better positions in life, and by the way I didn't hear any of them make claims that they have all the FACTS on everything like he does. So the fact that I'm a contractor means that I settled for a lesser job that puts me in the blazing sun all day?... All my smarts landed me in the job of my choosing that I totally enjoy, where I set my own hours and make more money in a month than you probably make all year and get the satisfaction of seeing the fruits of my labor whe I'm through with a job... It has allowed me to build a home for half of what it would cost to buy on the open market, it has put 2 kids through college, afforded me the opportunity to have a camp in the North, lease 1000 acres of land for hunting just around the corner from my home... Now tell me again how my smarts could have landed me in a better position... I would contend that your POSITION didn't land you with many SMARTS... like I said I don't have the facts for everything.. just the things I choose to discuss here... and its a fact that the more you open your mouth the less smart you appear to be. The only reason I can think of for attacking another mans livelyhood and choice in life is to make up for something that is lacking in your own that you might be less than proud of... or maybe you are just a poor excuse for a man. Good for you, then you can continue to be proud of yourself. You should remember however, that many who don't share your views of the world, have made good lives for themselves also. And they didn't use welfare, handouts, or any such thing to get where they are. Some of you fellas think that anyone who disagrees with you in the slightest is automatically a welfare recipient, unemployed, and a complete waste of life. I reckon you think those are the irrefutable FACTS for all those who disagree with your points of view. All I can tell you is that you are as wrong with that assumption as you are with most of your others.

Because I do not care to tell you. There surely are people on this forum who I have become friendly with and know exactly what I do. Others here can continue to scratch their heads and make assumptions. You fellas think you have all the facts, so lets just say that there will be some facts you will never have.

On what eating a fawn or my cousin. I thought Fawn was your cousin?

Hahahaha!! What a piece of trash you are. You could only wish you had my job. By the way I start very few posts around here. YOU are the one who constantly posts your right wing garbage and then you have a cow when someone has even the slightest disagreement with it. Even a simpleton can see what you really are.

Looks like I struck some more sensitive nerves! LOL For everyones information, I did not call for bringing Bush up on charges, and never said that Obama shouldn't be. I only said that if Obama should be brought up on charges for this why would Bush and his cronies be spared for what they might have done?? And please spare me with the Congress approving the Iraq war bit also. You guys know damned well that Bush and his administration started the ball rolling on that one. Just because Congress was stupid enough to approve the Bush administrations plan, does not mean the Bush administration should be any less responsible for their blunders. Again YOU boys are the ones showing your typical knee-jerk reactions to anyone asking an honest question. Like I said, BOOM, you boys would be dead at sunrise on opening day! LOL
-
Yeah, and the previous president sent several thousand servicemen to die in Iraq on the notion that Iraq held stockpiles of WMD. Why aren't you guys crying to also bring him up on a few charges?? You guys are so predictable it ain't even funny. As I have often said, if many of you were whitetail bucks, you'd be gunned down at sunrise on opening morning. Very easy to pattern what you will say and do.

I bet she'd welcome it.

The vast majority of hunters out there are predominantly deer hunters these days, so deer hunting WILL be a kids first taste of hunting in the majority of cases. Many deer hunters hunt only deer and little else. I doubt they will convert into rabbit or squirrel hunters just to give junior a taste of hunting. Small game hunting was even more popular than big game hunting up thru the 70's. Somewhere in the 80's things began to change where deer hunting began to rule the hunting world and I don't think we will be going back any time soon.

I can imagine that it would taste great. A lamb tastes better and more tender than a full grown sheep as does veal compared to beef. I am sure the same would apply with meat from a fawn. Sure there won't be too much of it, but I am sure it would taste awesome.

I actually think this says it all. I have always believed that getting kids involved in other outdoor activities will give them MORE reasons to give hunting a try, than issuing a kid a gun or bow and have hunting as their only outdoor experience. Lets face it, be it a special season or not, hunting, especially deer hunting from a stand can be quite boring for a youngster. Combine this with hunting in an area where you don't get to see deer every day out, and it makes for a long, dreary day for a kid. Take them hiking on a good nature trail where they can see all sorts of critters and it will make for a way more enjoyable day for them. At the same time it will get them into a better frame of mind in regards to fitness. We have enough hunters out there who can't walk 150 yards to their stands without the need of ATV's. I don't think we need anymore. Having them realize that walking is a part of the hunt will make them way more aware of their surroundings and better hunters, too.
