  1. That's for sure! First thing I noticed is that he stated that he recently moved to Suffolk county Long Island from another state, so how did he get a pistol license so quickly? He did say that his insomnia was triggered by his recent move, so one would assume that the move occurred very recently. On the link in the article to the court filings they state that he had a pistol license for 9 years. They didn't state where this pistol license was from, but I would think only a license issued in NYS would be of importance in a case filed against NYS, would it not?? If he moved to NYS only recently, then how could he have a pistol license for 9 years in NYS? Also, would there be a reason that he would file this case in Rochester, since he resides in Suffolk county?? Maybe there is a reason for this, but this also seems strange to me.
  2. Could you imagine if Mario got appointed to the supreme court and served alongside Scalia?? Man, two Italians from different sides of the political spectrum on the same bench!! It would have been dangerous to be in a room with them. You could have lost an eye or something if you were close enough to them with all the hand gesturing those two would be doing while arguing with each other!! Mannaggia!! LOL
  3. I have always held that a .270 or .30-06 without question are still the BEST choices of all when it comes to buying a deer rifle. They carry plenty of punch and lots of ammo available for them, and you can find something in these calibers in any sporting goods store that carries ammo. These days there has been a shortage of .308's and the 7MM-08 is still not nearly as popular, nor are there as many ammo choices for it like the .270 or .30-06.
  4. You can't go wrong for that price. .270 was a MUCH better choice than the .243. Why go with a low end caliber when you can get a more potent one for the same price? People can argue until they are blue in the face that a .243 is great, but as is the case with any controversy, there are usually good reasons for it being controversial. I much rather stick with a caliber where there AREN'T any arguments about it being effective for deer. You have that with the .270 for sure!
  5. She was topless because her boobs were floatation devices that the other guys grasped on to save themselves, while you went under with the ship. LOL
  6. The rifle is fine, the caliber is too light for a beginner. .270, .30-06, .308, 7mm-08 MUCH better. As previous poster stated, there will be little need for an upgrade in the future with one of these.
  7. Pygmy, I think there are a few lonely hunters on this forum that would let themselves get shot by some cheap rusted out clunker gun, to get one virgin, let alone 40. Come to think of it they'd probably let themselves get shot for only a kiss from a floozy that didn't have any teeth!! LOL
  8. Jeez, that groundhog deserves nothing less than 40 virgins in groundhog heaven after letting himself get shot by such an expensive rifle/scope combination!! LOL
  9. And what do you think I am lacking? Money?? I am quite comfortable, thank you. I know that I sure as hell won't be giving any of it to you for those pen raised deer, though. I can find better ways to spend it. LOL
  10. OK, then Four Seasons is the man you need to talk to for advice. Of course he'll probably charge you for the advice, but what would you expect? He always says that hunting is all about the MONEY. Hopefully he can throw in some advice on mullet care for free.
  11. I would agree that since the problem with Pygmy's gun is windage adjustments, I don't think the shim solution would work for him. I think newer scopes have more adjustments than old ones, so a new scope might solve things without needing to swap the mounts. Unfortunately there will be some trial and error before a problem like this gets squared away.
  12. Factory holes can be drilled incorrectly, too. That's the case with a spare rifle I have. The quickest fix for me without swapping mounts or scopes was a thin shim between one of the scope rings and the scope. Not a perfect solution, but it works, and the scope has held it's zero for years nonetheless.
  13. Not necessarily. The scope mounting screw holes on the action may have never been drilled correctly.
  14. The worlds last remaining fixed 4 power scopes are welded to Pygmy's rifles and they ain't coming off for anyone! LOL
  15. I would have figured you'd want to buy a deer farm and grow a mullet like one of your forum heroes? LOL
  16. Different mounts might work, but that's an expensive proposition and may or may not do the trick. If the scope was shooting high or low, then a shim could do the trick. I've had to do this with one of my rifles and never had a problem afterwards. Don't know how effective this would be for your situation, however. Probably not too easy to shim it on the side of the scope.
  17. For all the goody-two-shoe hunters on the forum, maybe the crime could be killing a deer after legal hours?? LOL
  18. Biz, I noticed that there is always a big smile on your face when you post pictures. Is that because you are generally a happy guy, or you are showing off your teeth to the hunters who don't have any??
  19. I bet a company like Realtree would love it if hunters got into manicures and pedicures. They could sell branded nail polish in all their camo patterns and make even more money!
  20. I wouldn't disagree with you here, but how many of these guys go hunting like us? Not very many. These manicure guys are more of the city slicker type who participate in sports that are more in vogue with hip culture than hunting will ever be. Hell, many hunters I've come across don't even have teeth, so I highly doubt they are worried about their toenails looking nice and pretty! LOL
  21. You gotta give the guy credit for admitting such a thing on a hunting forum. Damn, that's a tough one to live down for sure. I wonder if he got his toenails painted camo color, to go along with the rest of his hunting clothes? LOL
  22. I don't think anyone can argue the divide between the rich and the middle class is getting way out of hand. You always had rich people in this country and that's not a bad thing, but at least in the old days the Carnegie's, JP Morgan's, and Rockefeller's contributed to society in one way or another. When I see sports stars and celebrities being worth millions it makes me downright sick. What is Lebron James and Beyonce contributing to the world?? Absolutely NOTHING. Taxing their asses heavily wouldn't lose me a wink of sleep quite honestly.
  23. Had to google what a LV Clutch was. Thought it was something dirty, but it's only a purse.
  24. Well seems kind of gay, but we need to welcome hunters from every segment of society, so I reckon it's all good!
