  1. BTW....I see you still wont respond to the link I posted. Whats the matter, you cant comprehend that either?
  2. Wow....I see comprehension still isn't your strong suit. I didn't call anyone a donkey there. Its no wonder you're always taking shots at me, you don't even know what I'm talking about you illiterate moron! I'll tell you what.....you and the rest of the good ol' boy network can go back to your circle jerk about my brother and just put me on your ignore list. What a friggin idiot!
  3. Doc....as I'm beginning to find out from being on this forum, you just cant fix stupid!
  4. Donkeys? Where did you get that? The ones that take me seriously are the ones that PM me here and on other sites and tell me how sick they are of you and your good ol boy network you have here! Why do you think the same 10 guys are the only ones posting here anymore? You're just pissed because I posted evidence to prove I'm right. Unless you think things will be different in NY than they are in MI & PA? LOL!
  5. You're just an idiot! Why do you keep referring to my brother? You got a hard on for him? Maybe he was right about you guys. You need to get back in the closet!
  6. And Pennsylvania's license sales have also gone down a little since allowing Crossbows.
  7. Michigan actually saw a 40K decrease in hunting license sales the year they opened X Bow season. Yep, it recruits a bunch of new hunters alright! http://www.mlive.com/news/bay-city/index.ssf/2009/11/michigan_dnr_reports_more_than.html
  8. Who's whining? I'm just trying to make a point that this will not produce a noticeable difference in new hunters to the sport....that's all. You guys are trying to make it out to be more than it is. And now, once again, if someone has a differing opinion all the idiots come out of the woodwork and start taking shots at him. We'll see who's right next fall!
  9. LOL...little man. You're the one following me around taking shots at my posts whenever you can. I wouldn't exactly call that much of an accomplishment!
  10. You should write my Auto Biography for me seeing as how you know so much about me. Tool! Always gotta take shots at people don't you? You must be a lonely miserable little man!
  11. We will see, wont we? I don't see it recruiting any more new hunters than it would have if there weren't a X Bow season. I hope I'm wrong.
  12. All the guys on here say using a vertical bow is just as easy as using a crossbow....I'm confused?
  13. This is one of the things that my good friend from Michigan told me happened there a lot when X Bow first opened. He also said its not too bad now. After the first few years all the weekend warrior gun hunter types gave up on X Bows and went back to gun hunting. This is one of the reasons I'm on the fence about it. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what actually happens.
  14. Me too. I' have a friend that hasn't been out in a few years bowhunting because he cant pull it back anymore. Hopefully he can get out this year. As far as new hunters go, you wont notice an increase. I'll compare 2013 and 2014 total big game license sales after next fall if I can find them anywhere. The last year I see any figures for is 2012 which 738K were sold
  15. If I see a dramatic license sale increase because of this I will be the first one to say I was wrong
  16. Crossbows will not get more hunters into the woods. It will get more gun hunters into Archery season but will not recruit new hunters. And I've yet to hear any of the guys that are against it say they are against the elderly and disabled using them. In fact I hear just the opposite. Your OP was pretty much a total fail!
  17. Yep,,,for 10 bucks you cant beat it!
  18. I don't muzzleloader hunt but always got the license so I could use the extra doe tag during archery
  19. Will you get the extra doe tag for bow/muzzleloader?
  20. I don't think Belo is done!
  21. I just bought a real bow!
  22. They lowered the non res licenses too. Residents still get screwed! I think they also got rid of the super sportsman
  23. You don't necessarily need a blind or decoys. They help a lot when hunting field edges. If you're hunting in the woods they are not necessary. I mostly use mouth calls. I have about 5 different ones. I also use a slate call. You need to practice so you actually sound like a Turkey. You should be out scouting your areas now. If birds are there they'll be nearby in May. I usually go into my areas before light and just listen for gobbles on the roost and try to set up between where the turkey is and where I think he'll be going( you should figure this out with your pre season scouting). Once set up, try calling to him on the roost. If he gobbles at you don't call anymore till he hits the ground. Less calling has always worked best for me, especially on public land. They wont gobble much on public after the first weekend so its critical to scout and know where the birds are hanging out. They will be around...even if you don't hear them!
  24. I don't know. He always sees deer and some nice bucks (or so he says) but never seems to close the deal. We call him the deer watcher!
