Sinister Clowns trying to lure kids into woods

Bet you could put that on and stalk up on some deer! LOL -
I'm bordered by ag fields on 3 sides of my property and it's really tough to hunt the wind. I'm seriously considering going out and buying one. I would get plenty of use out of it, as I have my clothes, my sons, and my daughters. I always wonder if the scent killer spray is more of a placebo/feel-good effect. I know it works, as I've tested it out in my son's smelly football cleats, but I wonder how effective it really it is with a few misty sprays here and there.

I've never tried uploading from my phone, so I can't help you there. Most use photobucket.com to post pics. Just make a photobucket account, then post the link to the pic in your post, and whalla.... the pic magically appears.

Looks pretty cool! Been doing a lot of reading on the Scent Crusher bags and closet and they get awesome reviews! Not one negative comment! Interesting YouTube videos also! The reviews say how big the bag is and they can stuff all their winter gear into it. Amazon has the Scent Crusher enclosed closet unit for only $50 more. I like the convenience of just stuffing the clothes into the bag after a hunt, plugging it in, and having the clothes be treated on your way home, without having to take them out, and having them be ready for your next hunt. Tempting.....

Oh yeah, I forgot! It's my turn to be a stander this time!

Wow! Sounds like you have you're own hunters paradise now! Congrats and happy hunting! Cherish your time hunting with your Dad and get lots of pics! Some don't have the pleasure of doing that anymore.

Opening Day Grouse 51 years ago

Ahhh, good times! Still chasing them? Those critters seem to out-fly my shot! -
After thinking about it, I was out yesterday and wanted to do a small job (duct tape down those pins that hold the ladder sections together that rattle when you climb) at a stand. From the trailcam pics, I was getting pics of does and fawns at the surrounding crabapple trees anytime after 4:30pm. As I was sneaking up to the stand at 4:15, I peeked down the trail and saw a huge doe stepping out of the standing cornfield and started munching on crabapples. I just slowly backed out without her seeing me.

If there's just a risk of a passing shower, or on and off showers, and I don't feel like wearing my raingear, I just take along the umbrella and screw the support bracket into the tree. If it starts to rain, I'll open up the umbrella. Easy-peasy and keeps me dry! It's nice during gun season, to keep rain and snow off the gun and scope.

gloves ....good deal

My fingers stay much warmer with the mittens. Toss in a hand warmer and it's all toasty! -
I don't recall ever being busted with my umbrella. Plus, this time of year, there's still so many leaves in the canopy that I don't think they would pay any attention to it anyways.

Buck pics have dropped off dramatically for me over the past 7-10 days. Before that, I was getting pics of numerous different bucks. I think the yellowing soybeans have something to do with that.

Why not just swing by Walmart, Dicks, Gander Mountain, Runnings, Bass Pro, or wherever and just buy one? https://www.walmart.com/ip/Hunter-s-Umbrella/37299799

Nice bucks and cool critters to keep you entertained! -
Gun hunting isn't as much of an issue as bow hunting in the rain. I'm not afraid of getting wet, but it's not worth risk losing a deer because a bloodtrail gets washed away either! I've tracked deer with a sparse bloodtrail before and its hard (and frustrating) enough. Factor in rain and you have a hell of a job on your hands! I use those umbrellas also for my own comfort and weapon protection, but they don't do anything to protect the bloodtrails from getting washed away!
