    I'm in Chenango County, I think that's a good idea for getting 2, thanks... and my letter of approval from the judge says right in it, that I will need to take a course.

    Chenango county requires you to take a safety course within a year of being issued the permit, and you need to take a course to carry concealed. I already know that the course in my town is this weekend and i'll be outta town....i'm not opposed to traveling wherever in the region. I wouldn't carry daily, but I would want a more compact 9mm, maybe .45 acp...just wanted to know what guns some of you prefer over others....obviously it'll come down to what feels right in my hand

    Getting skinned this evening after work...I got a trapper showing me how it's done and then a buddy gave me a place to send it out for tanning....so 12 pack for the skinning, tin of chew for the trapper, little pocket cash for his efforts and 23 bucks for tanning....lot better sounding then hundreds of dollars

    Thanks for the advice guys...I got a trapper buddy who is gonna help me out with a pelt and the i'm gonna send the pelt out for tanning at mink and moyle...$23 bucks

    not gutted...hasn't broke 29 degrees here...i'm gonna make a decision today and if I don't get it mounted my buddy and I are getting the pelt ready tonight...I've got quotes from $450-800 for full body mounts

    That's why i'm seriously debating getting one...although a pelt might do just fine for the price haha... I don't think I've ever seen a yote this blonde...also, no mange and wayyyyy too healthy, no doubt its a purrrrdy creature though

    I only saw this one, but the guys I was with saw a total of 5...not sure how they all managed to get by without being shot at though haha...my Mini 14 will be out after deer season as well

    While hunting yesterday, this guy decided to come out (he won't be anymore)...was curious as to how much a full body mount would be?...if it's outta my price range, which i'm sure it is, does anyone know of a fairly priced place to get a pelt done in the 7m-7p area?

    Obviously not Belo, I should have worded that differently...had the scope on it. It was a mix breed and very similar to a yote from a distance, was unmistakably a domestic dog after I had the scope on it. Did you not read the part about "can't punish the animal for that".

    I had this problem last year and I had one of the pups in my crosshairs, just couldn't do it. It's their ancestors nature, can't punish the animal for that.

    Old iron sights (my 20gauge) is always primed to go...270 will be shot to re-check the zero...good luck
