    Cell cams show bucks moving a lot. Still first and last hours of daylight but new bucks showing up

    saw two doe fri, 3 doe sat. Kid won his playoff football game so my busy sched continues. might go out this evening. Then pa youth Thursday.

    My son and other nephew will be eligible for NY youth next year, so its quite possible ill be taking 3 of them out. My son and I will be out for pa youth next weekend.

    My broad head after the doe sat, blew her opposite leg apart. New blade won’t spin true. Mike Sohm from Magnus responded to my email 8 minutes after I sent it mailing me a replacement head!

    I used to be very careful, now I don't even bother. They stay hung in the second garage. Hunt stands based on where the milkweed goes. I've seen no difference in success/ getting winded.

    Absolutely, I had a doe bleating her brains out last night. With the cold temps its very possible a few may come in.

    My youth hunter chickened out again, I went out with the bow at 4. Had two doe at 10 yards bleating the whole time but were in a hard spot to shoot, rather that force a shot or spook them I let them pass, never smelled me downwind.

    My youth hunter didn’t wanna get up this am, so I went out with the bow. Forgot my flashlight but I’m on a field edge so can see ok. Get 30 yards from my stand and I see a black blob. Yup, black bear 25 yards from me. I say hey bear and he just walks away slowly. Climb up real quick and he came Back right after. Saw 16 Turkey and 8 doe this am. All around 9am.

    Weather cleared at 4. Went out with bow, doe down didn’t make it 20 yards snowplowing. Started pouring drag out

    This youth weekend might be really good, drastic temp change and some rain in periods should have them up.

    Went out last evening and set a blind for youth gun due to the predicted forecast of rain, sat the last two hours and saw nothing.

    Been a long busy summer with the kids, Just finally checked stands this week! No time to mess around with cams. MY first year going in blind and I'm excited. Haven't been on all year so ill add this, got my first turkey this spring ( a jake double with a friend).

    7s/7p, doe numbers are through the roof where i hunt, coyote slightly down, bobcats everywhere now. Id bet my doe ratio is 3 or 4 to 1 buck.

    Peroxide finish. Volume 40, brush on. My pressure washer is only 1800psi. I feel like 2200 would be ideal.
