  1. I'm interested to see what other people have payed. I was told around 4 thousand bucks to survey 50 acres. For the most part it's a rectangle size piece of land. Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk
  2. I had a problem with 4 wheelers on my property a few years back. After I planted almost 100 saplings on a trail I wanted to grow in I had a group of wheelers come through during the week when I wasn't up at my land. All of the saplings were run over, then they ripped up a couple different spot by doing donuts and turning wet spots on the trails, into the start of mudholes. I went up that weekend and saw the damage. Needless to say I was not happy. I bought some cedar posts and took some barbed wire and put it across every trail on the property lines. There was only 3 different trails so it only took an hour or so, but a post was put in the middle of the trail with a posted sign. Problem solved. Haven't had anyone ride through since Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk
  3. No lawyers required. Just the seller saying ok is all that is needed. Good luck. Whatever posted signs you use, make sure you get a paint marker or something like it that will not fade out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I would ask the owner of you can post the land now. As long as a purchase contract is signed neither party has anything to lose. I posted my property a month and a half before closing with the OK of the owner. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. PayPal is quick and easy to set up. It will say if they accept other forms of payment in the listing. I just got a galaxy tab S2 a week ago and love it. But, iPads are selling cheap too. Go someplace and try them out then search the Internet and can usually save a lot of money. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I drove gm ford and ram. The ram was the most comfortable, best looking truck in my opinion. The 5.7 hemi is 395 hp with an 8 speed transmission, best driving truck I've owned. Gm's are gutless , fords 5.0 is nice but only a little over 300 hp. The ecoboost was nice but it didn't sound like I was driving a truck. Never looked at a yota. My last 4 trucks were fords, and before that chevy and gmc. My 2014 ram is the nicest yet. No problems in the 18 months I have owned it. After taking delivery of my ram, I went to Pennsylvania. Got just over 20 mpg and that was going right around 75 mph. Test drive them all. The deals keep getting better on the 15's the closer you get to the 16'coming out. 10 grand off a truck shouldn't be a problem this time of year Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Just checked the ad card. I have to say , best videos ever on a trail cam no matter if day or night. Only down side is 16gb card filled up fast at 1080 10 sec video. Amazing quality and sound Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Once every week or two now. Getting closer to bow season I check once a week Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Right, definitely not like brake lights. I will see how the deer react to it. Looks to be a solid cam. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. My order came in earlier this week and I found time to go through things and take some test video. I have not put this in the woods yet. The cam seems well built. Only 2 things that stick out to me are the cover for the viewing screen and the switch from off to test to on. The switch is small and may be tough to move with gloves on. The lcd screen cover flips up , but there is no seal to keep moisture out. Hope the screen is sealed good to body of the cam. I was under the impression this was a black flash , from reading the qdma post on it. Art said the test cam was called revolution and then said it was black flash. I can see the red led lights plain as day through the tinted cover. We will see how the deer react to the red lights. That's the biggest disappointment is it not being true black flash Picture and video quality day or night is the best out of all the cams I own. Great sound as well Setup was easy. You need the remote that come with the cam to set it up. The remote is very small. I would compare it to a box of matches. I hope to put this cam in use starting this weekend so should have videos to put up by the following weekend. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I will. I have covert, spy point, browning, right now. So I can compare it to what I have. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. I just bought a 570 ranger, it starts fine right now. Turns over 3 times then starts every time. Seems to turn over slow but I wonder if if just the new starter they are using. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Holy crap that is one heck of a list Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I have been thinking about getting a lab for a while. When you know more shoot me a pm with details Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I know of all wooded land for sale and they are asking in the 40's for 50 acres. Just outside of utica in Herkimet county. It's with a realtor Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Ok thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Any ideas on usual pricing on trees. It's a bit of a drive from Utica, would have to be a good deal to go Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I wish. That is my wonderful neighbor. Would have needed a flashlight to see even in the snow. Don't even want to walk the property line to see where it was shot. Goofs like this are why I drink. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I can't believe someone can see in the woods good enough to shoot at 5:45 am. First shot of the day Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Some people may not want to deal with the hassle of the police pulling them over. Some people may say I'm not doing anything illegal so go ahead and call them. It's the thought in people's head that if they spotlight they will be talking to the police or dec. If they have a road soda with them or anything else on them that may cause a problem they are gonna drive by that field 9 times out of 10. That being said, I have spotlighted on private property but if I saw a sign like that I wouldn't want to deal with the bs. To each their own I guess Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Most will get the message with a sign stating no spotlighting , police will be called. Trespassers / poachers on the land is a different story. If they know you aren't there that's where it's tough. You can try to catch them with cameras, or have people come up and hunt when your not there. I have had a problem with trespassers since I bought my land. Neighbors know when your not there with a simple drive by. Even when you are there you can't be everyplace at once, and they know that. They will trespass at night knowing you aren't out there. It's an uphill battle every year. Just remember, you will catch one of them one day, and that's when you get your point across Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
