By the looks of it he probably goes the other way. I think him and Steve bump . Just another key board tuff guy. On another note: Have fun hanging with these clowns. I'm done with place.
-
Not at all. I hunt private land so I won't have to deal with it.
-
Recurve was all I shot when I was a kid and shot pretty damn well with one. Still like playing around with them. I just enjoy shooting a compound more. All I ever shot and hunted with was open sights on my shotgun until last year. Bought a single shot 20ga. and mounted a scope on it.
-
Nope. Not at all. You?
-
Well in all fairness. I did say **** in my post prior. I guess that's a big bad word. They say worse than that on regular television that kids are watching.

I won't lose any sleep

Go .......... Yourself! Is that better?
-
Yea no @^#&!!! Pretty freaking pathetic!!! Just lost the little respect I did have for the NYCC.
-
I never said you couldn't shoot 100 yrds accurately with a compound. The point I'm trying to make is that there are many more ways to steady your shot with a X bow than a compound. Hence giving you more of an advantage with a X bow. Right or wrong?
-
Can X bow shooters use bi pods? Can you rest your compound on your knee to steady your aim as I could in the field while hunting with a X bow? You can't compare the results of target shooting to hunting situations.
-
And your point? Two total different situations. We're talking hunting. Not target shooting. Whens the last time you seen someone hunting with a 30' front bar and a 15" side bar with scopes and 27 series arrows? You can try and sugar coat it anyway you want........I'm not buying it.
-
HAHA LMAO!!! You can't be serious?????????

It has nothing to do with not wanting more hunters. It has to do with the mind set that people will have with a Xbow in their hands. I staff for Excalibur xbows and you would be amazed what I hear people saying while I'm doing shows. I get first hand experience with these people. It really makes you think how this is really going to effect the archery season. Again. I have nothing against them. I just don't feel they belong in the archery season unless your physically unable to draw a bow.
-
I'm sure glad I picked up some private land to hunt in the past couple years. I can't even imagine what the archery season is going to be like for the public land hunters. I can just picture sitting in my tree stand watching a bunch of knuckle heads walking around with Xbows. Sorry........they just don't belong in the archery season and whether it's passed or not. I will not be supporting it.

Please enlighten us with a pic of all the mature bucks you've killed with a bow.

Get yourself a pair of skinning pliers. Skin em', twist their heads off, egg, flour, bread crumbs and deep fry. The meat will fall of the bone with a fork. Dip in some cocktail sauce. YUM! I remember when I was a kid my ol' man would come home in the middle of the night and fill the bathtub full of BH. My Mother used to freak!!! HAHA!!!

I never caught a bullhead on a tip up.

Sick! Who did the work?

The gorilla XL loungers are as comfy as they get if you can still find them. They're a bit heavy, so they're not too pack in pack out friendly. I have 4 of them and they're getting pretty beat up from the elements. I'm thinking I may go with the milleniums this year. If I were to need a stand for mobility it would be a lone wolf hang-on even know they aren't the most comfortable stands.

I'm not that big of a fan of limb stops (personal preference), but I can tell you that the primes are a dream to tune.
-
You still haven't answered my questions either Mr. know it all.

Yep! your right. I hate Mathews!!! Here's a list of Mathews bows I've owned LX (2) SBXT's Reezen 6.5 Monster 6 MR6 Z7 Yep! I hate Mathews and as for your grammar comment.......... Is that better??????????
-
BTW. I never told him not to shoot the bows he was interested in. I simply was telling him to explore all options before he made a decision. So.......I never dismissed anything! I gave him my opinion on what I thought having shot all of the manufacturer's that were mentioned. Could you please explain why a Matthews is "the easiest and most reliable to shoot" ?
-
Of all the manufacturer's I listed please tell which one(s) you can't buy at an authorized dealer? Let me guess. You buy a bow from a "pro" shop, they slap your rest, sight ect... on an square it up with a laser tool and your good to go? Well, I got news for ya pal. Your bow was not properly tuned. Even with a solocam you need to tweak stuff. Yoke tune, cam starting position ect... so before you decide to jump on someone do a little research first so next time you'll sound like you have half clue.
