  1. I'd plow her and shovel her walkway
  2. Don't forget: Bear Hoyt PSE Expedition Strother Prime ect... All 3 you listed. They're on the bottom of the list for me with the exception of the BT Experience. I thought that was a very nice shooting bow. Their CS just sucks from what I hear.......
  3. I've shot it. Pretty nice shooting bow. I'm just not a fan of that particular cam system. I prefer something with a static yoke(s). More tuning options. Do yourself a favor and don't limit yourself to one brand. Shoot as many as you can. You'll be surprised whats out there.
  4. Never understood the 4 and 5 arrow quivers. Broad heads com in packs of 3. They should all be 3 or 6. Really drives me nuts having that extra head or 2 laying around.
  5. I'll bring over my TR lite one that I just got so you can check it out. It's pretty sweet!
  6. Well.....I've been texting back and forth with the seller for the past 30 mins. It's been quite comical to say the least. I asked him what I would have to do to change the DL. He said I can just go to the website and buy everything I need right there. So I asked him what model is the High Country so I can see if I can get parts. He tells me he isn't100% sure on the model because the decal has been removed. LOL. I said well I can't get parts if IDK what model it is. He says he thinks I can just put a longer or shorter string on it to make the DL fit me. Yea yea. I know. I need to get a life...lol.
  7. LMAO! I haven't heard that name in many years
  8. I've heard some good things about the new Martins. As far as Brackett. I think he's a D bag. Booyah!
  9. I get a kick out of the "you can take it somewhere to have the DL changed". For 1. That would be called a pro shop and 2. Good luck finding a cam for either one of those dinosaurs. LOL.
  10. http://syracuse.craigslist.org/spo/4367613256.html
  11. Depends on what weight you go with. I have a set of minus 33 mid weight and they're just as light as UA if not lighter and they're twice as warm. I also have a set of Scent Blocker expedition weight that is heavier than the UA.
  12. UA base layers are compression fit where as merino wool base layers are not as tight and a lot lighter than UA. There is no comparison between the 2 IMO.
  13. I too picked up this suit this past season. It is very warm and seams to be better made than most of SB suits.. I'm thinking of selling it though and going all first lite gear (I get it at good price through prostaff) for early to mid bow season and a heater body suit for the real cold days.
  14. UA base layers are a waste of money IMO. They don't hold a candle to the warmth of 100% merino wool base layers. UA is ok if your moving, but once you sit for a period of time it sucks!
  15. I thought pretty much the same thing when he was explaining it to us. He seemed to know what he was talking about though. He was a retired LEO. So you would hope he knew the laws.
  16. When I took my handgun safety course the instructor told us that you can not shoot an intruder in your home unless they are using deadly force against you.
  17. I'm with this. The hunting usually sucks the first 2 weeks and piss warm anyways.
  18. Nothing wrong with a biscuit man. Just be sure you follow through with your shots and you will be good to go. About the only way they can fail is if they freeze up which very rarely will ever happen.
  19. The reason people don't think they are accurate is because they (people) aren't accurate. What I mean by that is the arrow stays in contact with the rest through the whole shot process. So if you don't follow thru with the shot it is going to show up more than a drop away which drops almost immediately at the shot. Thus being more forgiving. So the next time someone tells you that the ugly cookie isn't accurate. Simply tell them. No. Your not accurate. LOL. I shot a whisker biscuit 2 hunting seasons ago and I had my bow shooting perfect bullet holes thru paper with bare shafts at 30 yrds. IDK how much more accurate you can get than that. I just prefer Limb Drivers over anything else.
  20. Glad everything worked out for you and your happy. Question. Did they do any bare shaft tuning through paper or bare shaft shooting with fletched shafts? Just curious.
  21. That's why I just laughed. I stated my opinion (doesn't mean you have to agree) and comes back with a ignorant comment. Again.....LMAO.
