I use OT2. I find the manufacturer charts not all that accurate. OT2 gives you the option of playing around with different point weights, lengths ect.... to find the perfect spine for your set-up.

If your ever in a jam or need help with anything. Shoot me a p.m. I'm not far from you and would be more than happy to help you out.

I will have to disagree on the part about setting everything to factory specs. Brace height and ata are not set in stone numbers. You should be within reason of these numbers, although they don't have to be exact. Also the metal football clamps are the worst IMO. They can slide with out realizing it. I always serve my cords in. Once the cord is through the string. You don't need a press to re-time if needed. If you install a good quality set of strings, you won't have much messing around once in tune.

LMAO! Calling someone out and has no clue who he is and what his capabilities are. Got to love it!

:fie:Link not working. They are the Cabelas Saskatchewan pac boots

These are the warmest boots I've ever owned. Once the temps. get below 20 deg or so. The Muck Arctic Pro's go in the closet and these come out. I've worn these late season deer, yote hunting, late goose and ice fishing and never had the slightest of cold feet. The laces being on ball bearings is the cat's azz. I've had mine for 4 years and they are still like new. Very well constructed.

I'm in bed at 8-9 every night. I sleep like a rock, but i'm up at 3-4 am every morning. I don't know what sleeping in means. I couldn't do it if I tried. I've never used an alarm clock in my life.

My daughter is 12 and will be turkey hunting in the springs also. I was going to get her a 20 ga. for Christmas but she has no interest shooting anything with a gun. She wants to hunt with her bow and that's it. Works for me.

I was in one for archery. A friend of a friend has it every year.

For the record. I was'nt giving him grief. I was sticking up for him. Hence the thumbs up. Trust me I know the feeling. When I shot my buck this season. The ethics police were out in full force with every assumption under the sun. It was quite annoying to say the least.

Just be careful. Some of the models they (Moultrie) make are junk! For a little more you can get the eyecon cams which are a very good cam also. The black widow models are great and I believe they're around $200.
-
If you can find the Moultrie m-80's grab them. They're a great little cam for the money

I just finished up 9lbs. of jerky. I use burger and make the flat slim jim style with the gun. I buy my seasoning kits at Bass pro that comes with the cure and seasonings. I can't stand the rip your teeth out jerky made from the steaks. Another great thing to try. I had my processor make sandwich steaks for me. olive oil and some garlic in a pan. High heat. brown both sides and throw it on a sub roll with cheese and other desired toppings.

All depends on the quality/quantity of deer. Also how much of the land you can actually hunt. I tried giving my buddy $1000 a yr. for his 144 acres. Yes! It's that good! He just won't accept money from me. No matter how hard I try giving it to him. I guess he figures I probably pay more than that in the long run on all the work I do for him on his rental properties for so cheap.

Sooo....He's full of crap? pretty much what I thought.

I have already read through this and I'm not seeing anything about what the sign must be attached to.
-
This discussion came up at my in-laws yesterday. My wife's uncle leases a crap load of land for hunting. He was telling me for the property to be legally posted. Each sign has to be attached to it's own stake and not on a tree. I never heard of this and wanted to know if anyone knows for sure what the law on this is?

I wear Muck arctic pro's down to 25 F or so. Any colder and I break out my Cabela's Saskatchawan pac boots. I have never once had the slightest of cold feet with them. The Mucks are by far the most comfortable of the rubber style boots IMO.

I will be out for the morning hunt. Then to my wife's Uncles for dinner and to watch the Cowboy's whoop up on the Raiders.

X3. No way it will be close to 140". Nice buck regardless of score.

Maybe he had a dickie do. Hard to hit the hole when you can't see your wang

If you want to stick with Eastons ( what I prefer myself). The flatlines are a great arrow. If you want something a little heavier. You can't go wrong with the Axis.
