    So here we go again. Change a season to benefit YOU. In the NZ, we do not see these pressure on deer YOU SZ hunters talk about. I see deer from start to finish. And they are not spooky.

    Coyotes have been low for awhile. The mid western yotes are a better quality. Rats took a jump compared to earlier prices. We will never see the prices of the fur boom of the 70's and 80's. My dad bought many xmases with fur money.At times a weeks fur check would double his paycheck.

    Rats $5-8, grey fox $15-20, red $12-15 coyotes $8-15 coon $7-20

    I remember in the old days, in order to use a rifle in NZ while hunting coyotes with hounds we had to get a special permit to carry a center fire. Another one of those dumb rules..Didnt need one for SZ though. Sure glad they did away with it.

    Ml or bow is not the answer. Some people dont have luxuries or options. SO YOU WOULD TAKE AWAY FROM ME AND MY KIDS TO ACOMODATE YOU?

    You guys in sz can fight it out. Glad I dont hunt alot of sz. But if you propose 2 weeks gun, I could hunt 2 or 3 days total. Work 6 days a week. Kids have school,sports. Good way too keep their interest. Let them get two days a year to gun hunt. Perfect.

    Almost waist deep snow. This one only ran an hour and the dogs bayed him up Yesterdays yote. Long run and big blocks. he tired out and dogs bayed him up. Young dog on the bay. 37lbs on our scale

    Redfield, Barnes Corners, Copenhagen, Montague. All places I snoeshoe hunted with tons of stateland.

    The season is fine here in the nz. The guys like me who work 60+ hours a week, need time. As far as Monday opener, why would I have my son miss a day of school when he can be a part of the opener on Saturday?
