  1. If you have the tax map number here is the website that will help you out. http://qpublic.net/ga/wayne/search.html
  2. Well what I don't understand if on the NY safe act website it states if you modify your assault weapon then, it is not not considered a assault weapon. So that would technically mean a stripped lower is not a assault weapon. I also have had a couple dealers tell me they have stripped lowers coming in for sale, or if you find then they would accept them as shipment to transfer them to you. This is strat from the NY Safe Act website !!! If you modify your gun so that it is not an assault weapon, you do not have to register it. The modification must be permanent however. This includes, for example, removing the bayonet lug by cutting or grinding, grinding off the threads on the barrel, removing the foregrip so that it cannot be readily reattached, or any change that cannot be reversed through reasonable means.
  3. I have been doing alot of research, They NY SAFE Act website states if you have a assault weapons and it does not have any of the assault weapons characters you do not have to register it. So if you get rid of pistol grip, bayonet holder, threaded barrel , and I can't remember the last thing. Just wondering if you can still build it I found a way around the pistol grip. https://www.exilemachine.net/shop/exile-machine-hammerhead-ar-15-stock-adapter-1.html
  4. Well if you read it, the first one he sold was already illegal in NY because it had 2 or more assault weapons traits.
  5. If you found the tax maps, just find the parcel number, and then put that is the county clerks website if they list the tax parcels. What county is it for?
  6. I don't understand why they mention the ammo. For now ammo is not regulated unless its for a pistol.
  7. NY courts system is backwards. The Supreme court is the lowest court in NY, and the Appeals Court is the highest. This was just one lawsuit. The big one comes up in April.
  8. Well that State Responded today to the lawsuit.I don't really see where they proved anything. http://statepolitics.lohudblogs.com/2013/03/11/read-ny-moves-to-toss-lawsuit-against-gun-control-law/
  9. I think we maybe starting to see the NY SAFE Act crumble. http://www.syracuse.com/news/index.ssf/2013/03/va_says_it_wont_follow_new_yor.html#incart_m-rpt-2
  10. About time. I think this may help out against the NY Safe act too. http://www.syracuse.com/news/index.ssf/2013/03/new_york_judge_strikes_down_ma.html#incart_river_default
  11. I wonder what happened with this court date, as they listed Match 11th as the day the State was to respond.
  12. New York is messed up in there court system. The Supreme Court in NY is the lowest level. The New York Court of Appeals is the highest court in NY.
  13. Well if you take Wall Street which i would assume is in NY City and then Marist College which is Poughkeepsie, NY, I think that would explain why the poll came out that way.
  14. Here is a link to a petition for Tompkins County to vote on to repeal the NY Safe act. There are over 400 signatures for it, then there is another petition against voting to repeal it and they only have 120 signatures or so. I wonder why Tompkins County Sheriff Kenny Lansing has not come out where he stands on the NY Safe act. http://www.ipetition...mpaign=Petition
  15. Biz, I think early bow seasons on that property would be old after hearing FOUR yelled all day long. Or just shoot a nice deer and it running and dying on the 18 green, would not go over well .
  16. Wow, 20 year old making $200,000-$300,000 jobs a year. Up here I bet there are only a hand full of jobs that even come close to that pay scale.
  17. Doc, every word Doc said spot on. I pay over $10,000 a year on my properties. I would never be able to afford my farm land if it was not agriculture assessed. Remember if it was not for agriculture assessments how much land would have been sold off for housing and lost to hunting. Ok, I just took one parcel property that I own, which is 105..3 acres. This years school taxes where $1567.65 and County Taxes where $1045.47 for a total of $2613.12 this is agriculture assessed. If this farm land was not agriculture assessed my school taxes would be $2858.15 and County taxes would be $2061.83 for a total of $4919.98. Remember these taxes are just on a farm land parcel no buildings at ll..
  18. I love my vest or two reasons. The built in seat with back rest is awesome, and then the pouch to carry them 20ln plus birds out of the woods in.
  19. Here is a picture of some guys running dogs in Lodi/Hector National Forest area this weekend. My buddy had a chance to go out with them. I only know one person in the picture.
  20. I believe we have almost .32 cents just in sales tax's on NY gas. So when gas goes up, you also end up paying more in sales tax.
  21. Congrats. Seems like the dog guys are doing great this year. There is a group in my area, called wanting to run dogs on my property, which I said go ahead, they have gotten 56 this year so far.
  22. This video is awesome !!!!!!!!!!! http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/03/01/sheriff-debunks-fallacies-surrounding-gun-magazines-in-this-viral-vid-plus-his-response-to-bidens-shotgun-advice/
