i have used john's stuff for yrs.never any success.alot of variables involved,wind,your scent(or lack of),hot does,had some dinks follow drag lines but never any booners,i think they do work ,all the cards just have to fall into place,late season may be better when they are looking for the last few does to breed.he has some good product,hope it works for you,tricking that big boy is very rewarding!

personally dont like the (earth) scent styles,if you can smell it so can deer,some guys go thru all the motions then ride the four wheeler to their stand or grab a quick smoke on the way out,i think it does help to mask some odors

same kinda yr for me,only hunted 3 days this yr for turkeys.2 for youth,got my son a nice bird,and opening morning thats it.last yr hunted about 20 mornings.not overly excited for some reason for archery,my wife thinks im nuts,lol
