    11/10 am Down in the lower Hole stand for 2 hours. Had one follow a scent drag in 10 minutes after I got in. Was 10 feet under me and too dark to even see any antlers. Had a 1.5 ur old 6 pt come through later. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Been in for an hour now pretty quiet. Shot the 20, the ML and the 6.5 mid day today at the in laws. Hop in the truck and Leave there and a couple hundred feet from where I just shot off 50 rounds a nice buck was standing on the RR tracks lol A scrape was freshened up near the tower on my way in.     Cabin it happens I choked on a nice one Friday. Nothin worse than dropping your food outa stand, or hat, or gloves. Especially a climber. I forgot my gloves tonight but it’s not that bad out.     I’m pretty sure duck is open, pheasant as well as other game. Duck is half hour before sunrise. I hear shots all the time here 10, 20, 30 a day from Sept1 through the new year. If they were shooting deer there would be none left lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Decided to stay closer to home to see what wind was gonna do Outside house did not seem bad get 10 minutes across town spot it’s rippin pretty good Figure I’m up mights we’ll give it a go, dragged scent line, in stand less than 10 minutes hear something and a buck right on the line. Problem is still dark and 30 minutes to legal. He wandered around me for 5+ minutes, at one time 10 feet from me. I still don’t know what it has for headgear. If I had to guess by body size a 1.5.     11/9 pm 35 Out in the tower for 2 hours. Right off had a doe running around and then the cause a little tiny spike paraded back and forth for a while. Spit snow but not sticking much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    11/9 am 35 Hit the bean stand on the island. Sit time 3 hours. At 7:45 Finally had a dandy buck come in straight downwind. He stops dead at 30 head on turns and starts walking away. I grunt him he stops at 35 ish quartering away. I rush knowing he ain’t sticking around and yank the trigger I never pulled a shot so bad. The scope moved in front of my eye! I was 100% positive I missed but the ground is so soft I lost the bolt so I quadruple checked for hair/ blood for an hour. He was a nice 8 I think 2.5-4.5 yo tall rack. Not huge but a dandy.     Pulled the am plug at 11 I couldn’t sit there any longer replaying my miss this morn[emoji45] Started raining and got pretty wet coming out. Left the island and went home dried clothes and now in the tower box with the heater buddy cranking! Was climbing in and had a doe run into the clearing.     Man it was noisy getting in this morn!! Cut bean stalks and mud. Settled in the tree. I packed for the day but i don’t think I can sit 11 more hours lol. Unless I see rutting action!
