    My impression is that the snort wheeze is a long fffffff ffffffff ffffsssssssssssssssssss. The buck is exhaling air through his nose. It is done when the doe is ready to breed and the buck is all worked up and he is warning any other buck to back the F off. I called in a buck a few seasons back that was walking outa my life and would not listen to anything else I threw at him. I snort wheezed and he stopped on a dime. Did it again and he came stomping back in and ended up with my tag on him. One of my most memorable hunts. Very cool to say the least.

    I have a small one that holds like 16oz that I have had for ages and it is great. It was from Gander. Now for long days my daughter got me a Yetti and I’m impressed. Coffee is too hot to drink hours later in stand on 20 degree days. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I’ve gutted maybe 100-150 deer never worn gloves. Hope I don’t die lol. Anyhow my Dad grew up a city kid, married my mom an Adirondack girl. He started hunting with my grandfather in his 20s. He got a few deer and never gutted one. I came along and my grandfather had me gutting at 10-11 years old. I couldn’t hunt but I could drag and dress lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Yea after missing I put the rifle away. Brought out my favorite. Out behind the house this morning in the far stand and he strolled by at 7:30 at 40 yards. 70 yards red spray paint trail. 140 pounds dressed 2.5yo. Other antler broke off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Didn’t see a deer all day but ended up gutting one after dinner anyway. The boy was with a bud and they hit a small doe driving to a friends house. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Whew long day. Up in stand at 6:15 at 7 degrees. Sat for 4 hours. I'm on state land and then have 12 guys come down and line up 40 yards from me from the bean field on my right 30 yards between each all the way across to the beans 300 yards out left and push the whole strip right away from me lol. I stayed for a few prob not long enough and headed out. Heard about 16 shots about half hour later. They ended up pushing about 10 out and shot a small buck. Nice guys they were having fun. They told me later they been pushing the place for 3 days. I will stay outa there for a while. No deer there will be moving during light with out getting stepped on. Spent the next 3-4 hours with my BIL trying to get something going. We both zipped. My little brother shot a wolc special on one of my local props. My dogs are beat. Back at in tomorrow.

    Ended up seeing nothing but a Fisher this morning. As I sit here working I heard two close shots out back. One of the neighbors, I hope, saw something in these 35 mph gusts!! Be out in the morning.
